until today Hobby Lobby was one of my favorite stores to shop unfortunately I had a awful experience there this morning.I went to the marysville store tagging along with a friend of mine who was needing some Art supplies. After about 25 minutes I was approached by several employees and was told my friend left 10 minutes ago it would be in my best interest to leave now. this is after they called security to my aisle over the loud speaker. It made me very uncomfortable and embarrassed as well. For absolutely no reason I was being profiled as a thief. as soon as I entered the store I was followed around by 3 employees the up and down every aisle. As well as being asked what I was looking for over 10 times literally. There were 20 other men and women in the store at the same time and not a single one of them we're being followed around. I was under the impression that this was a Christian owned god-loving store not somewhere that automatically assumes you a theif by your appearance . I would give the Marysville hobby lobby 0 stars if it allowed me to but it does not. They were completely out of line and the way they acted and treated me without having any reason is very unprofessional and very not...
Read moreLet me start by saying I take my elderly mom here alot. We buy frames and fun things for our homes. Today 9/29/20 I visited myself to buy 2 frames. I knew where to go, bought frames before. 1 min in the store I heard a security call on the intercom. Within 1 min later I was met on opposite sides of me by a man and woman that worked for the store. The woman walks by me I started to ask a question about the frames, her response was for me to keep my distance. The man helped me from there. NOTE: my mask was on the entire time I was in the store. Walked up to buy my frames. As I waited next in line 2 cashiers opened up and assisted people behind me. I waited as the cashier called for help with previous transaction. Not sure why I had to feel the way I did. Was so happy to get away from there I ignored i paid full price on 50% frames....
Read moreThis is specifically for the custom framing and not the store overall You'd think buying a custom frame for $250 the least they could do is put your photo in straight or check with you that everything is perfect before they seal it. Waited two weeks for my custom frame that cost about $250 and it took about an hour to put in the frame and it was not in straight. They kept helping other customers while they were supposed to be dealing with us, that's fine, but I feel customer satisfaction wasn't priority so instead of waiting another hour+ I just pointed out it wasn't straight and left. Now I'm order to fix the issue that shouldn't exist I have to cut open the frame. The frame itself also had chips and missing some point that what noticed until the plastic came off. Not a $250 experience, more...
