The pizza was actually really tasty, and I'd definitely love to try MOD Pizza again. However, there were a few issues - perhaps just with this location - that really reflected badly on the company overall.

First thing we noticed was the NOT ONE of the four staff members were wearing their face masks correctly - noses were outside of the mask, and two had their mouths outside of the mask, mask hanging down by their chin - this really defeats the purpose of the mask. Only one other customer was wearing a face mask, amongst maybe 10 other people in the store. This made us super uncomfortable, but we'd already ordered so we didn't want to bother with cancelling, but how they "wore" their masks was absolutely ridiculous.

The food took a little while, but one of the staff members apologized, told us they were understaffed, and offered us two cakes to make up for the wait. We really appreciated that, and we've all been there, so I wasn't too worried about the wait. Other than that interaction though, staff seemed really sassy their attitude was really moody, from when we entered throughout our entire time waiting.

When we got home, one of the pizzas was smushed and half folded over onto itself, and the base was cooked unevenly - really thick on one side, really thin on the other. Like I said, the pizza was actually REALLY tasty, great flavours and great ingredients! But the service and presentation didn't really reflect that.

I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt and say that their attitude, service and food presentation was down to the fact that they were short staffed, like they had said. BUT being short staffed has no bearing on whether or not you wear your face...

Best prize pizza and make your own for unlimited toppings for one low price

And because I didn't know this... MOD is one price for unlimited options on your pizza. You pay for the size (and a dough yocharge if you choose the Mega Dough which is thicker), and then add your choice of sauce, cheeses toppings, finishing touches (drizzles, oils, etc), and then free dipping sauces as well to take home or use in restaurant... as many as you want of whatever kind. The pesto is particularly delicious.

The more you go, the better your pizza gets. Let your creativity truly shine in your pizza at MOD!

Update: Still so delicious! The artists, as I call the employees who make the pizza of so good, are always super friendly and always more than happy to oblige my obsessive cheese desires.

If you like lots of toppings, go for the MEGA DOUGH option. It allows for a literal TOWER of nearly unlimited toppings!

Go in on your birthday for a free drink or No Name cake (aka the best not a Ding-Dong ever!... though j was told by a manager I would get a pizza for my birthday if I asked the manager! 😉).

The lemonades are delicious hand crafted works of art. My favorite is the Caramelized Pear, features in my photos. Subtlety sweet and very much like slightly sweetened cold tea with deliciousness brewed in! But all the lemonades are good. My second is the classic lemonade or Marion berry.

Enjoy! Best pizza I've ever had! So fresh and delicious and can't believe the price is so good for...

I like MOD Pizza and I liked this MOD Pizza. It is a little bit hard to find. We had to wind through several parking lots to find it. And this is using a GPS Navigator. The pizza shop itself is a classic MOD Pizza. We ordered our favorite custom mod pizzas and they were just right. We chose to sit outside in a nice seating area. Music was playing, and we expected them to call our name over the speakers when are pizza was ready. When we waited long enough and we had not been called we went in to check on our pizza. Our pizzas were on the counter getting cold. It would be nice if the pizza shop was not cooked in the middle have a large shopping center parking lot with no nearby entrance. It would be even better if they had notified the people outside the pizza shop in the nice seating area that their pizza was ready and not just tell the people inside the pizza shop. Mod pizzas are great. This would be a 5-star rating except they did not bother to let us know the pizza was ready. So I give it 4 stars for...
