We were out in the area and whipped out our ever reliable Google Maps for suggestions on oysters and this place came up! Being not -so familiar with the area. We decided to pull up to our original place to decompress when I erroneously made a turn which in turned became a happenstance. As I made that erroneous turn in, I saw the sign, HIDDEN VINE BISTRO! YES! THERE IT IS. I was a tad bit skeptical about oysters but I had the feelings and happened to be there on happenstance. Felt a tad bit early, 11 AM to be sipping on wine/cocktail flights. There were 4 patrons already. Saw bartender , Kerryn making their house special flights which looked phenomenal and enticing. I am here for something else so I needed to stay focused. Their menu looked well-curated! Not to mention, Hidden Vine Bistro is a local gem where every dining experience is as smooth as a fine wine and as vibrant as a freshly plucked grape! This classy, family-owned haven—helmed by a dynamic mom-daughter duo knows exactly how to uncork culinary brilliance. Each dish is a vine-tastic fusion of flavors and innovative flair, leaving your taste buds swirling in delight. The ambiance is elegantly understated, offering a “hidden” retreat where tradition meets modern sophistication. With every sip, bite, and heartfelt smile, Hidden Vine Bistro proves that life’s too short not to savor the finer things, so come on in, dine and let your palate wine about how simply grape it all is! This place quickly filled up, as people started trickling in we decided to venture out and make space. Don’t forget the focaccia and pesto! Swedish meatballs were hearty! Drinks are phenomenal! THANK YOU KERRYN, the cocktail magician behind the bar. Shaken, stirred, or straight-up legendary, you’ve got the spirit to turn anything into a masterpiece! Every pour is poetry, every garnish a flourish, and every sip a reminder that some heroes don’t wear capes, she just knows how to mix a darn good drink. Keep slinging those liquid gold creations, because your cocktails don’t just raise the bar, they are the bar! Cheers to you, the true...

Husband and I were on a road trip, driving through the Everett area when we felt hungry. Husband found Hidden Vine on Yelp and thought we could both find something of interest on the menu. While the menu is more limited than some large-sized restaurants, it offers a wide variety of flavors. I was a bit concerned that Hidden Vine had less than 100 Yelp reviews, although it had a great 4.5 star average rating. Hidden Vine ended up a hidden gem and I agree with its 4.5 rating.

The phenomenal service compelled me to round up from 4.5 stars instead of rounding down. Here are the reasons for our 5-star rating:

  1. We appreciated the seating placement and comfort. Tables are not crammed together and there are different seat options. They are all very comfortable and inviting whether you are alone, with a special someone or are a larger group.

2). The service was exceptional. I think the owner initially welcomed us and took our order. But the servers worked as a team to insure we had what we needed at the right time. We felt well cared for!

3). The menu was varied and interesting, and we enjoyed our meal. This was unexpected as Hidden Vine is a wine bar and appeared to have a full bar. I don't usually go to a wine bar for the food but that's exactly what we did since we couldn't imbibe as we had a drive ahead of us. Husband had the salmon starter and we split the chicken with bacon jam sandwich. Very tasty. I had a basil limeade. So good and refreshing! A bit pricey at $7. The rest of the meal was priced in line with similar establishments.

It was an overall nice, relaxing and satisfying experience. If we lived in the area it would be on our regular meal line up!

I don't think this will remain a hidden...

An Exceptional Culinary Experience at Hidden Vine

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Hidden Vine in Washington State, and I must say it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From start to finish, everything was perfect, and I highly recommend this restaurant. The food at Hidden Vine was simply delicious. Every bite was a true delight. The dishes were freshly prepared with high-quality ingredients and presented with finesse. I had the opportunity to try several different dishes, and they were all exquisite. Whether you prefer meat, fish, or vegetarian options, Hidden Vine offers a diverse selection that will satisfy every palate. The ambiance of the restaurant is extremely charming. The cozy atmosphere and tasteful decor create a pleasant and welcoming environment. It's the perfect place for a romantic dinner for two or a gathering with friends. The carefully designed interior and the subtle lighting contribute to a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere that makes the evening truly special. The staff at Hidden Vine, who are owner-operated, are exceptionally friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond to ensure that guests have a memorable dining experience. Their knowledge of the menu and their genuine enthusiasm for their work make the service top-notch. They are attentive, accommodating, and always ready to offer recommendations or answer any questions. Overall, I can't speak highly enough of Hidden Vine. The combination of superbly delicious food, delightful ambiance, and exceptional staff makes it a standout dining destination. I will definitely be returning and encourage anyone seeking a remarkable culinary adventure to visit Hidden Vine in...

We were very excited to try this bistro and we were semi let down. When you first walk in the atmosphere is warm and comfortable, but after we sat down and started to order is when things started to go south. We asked our server for a recommendation on the drinks and she could not give us an answer and was very short with us. We got our martinis and they were amazing, so we decided to order the gorganzola stuffed dates wrapped in bacon and we were not let down. Ok, appetizers were good, lets try the entrees, this is where things went horribly bad. My fiance ordere the tortellini with steak and I order the burger, my burger was mediocre and did not live up to the appetizers and when my fiance got her tortellini, the steak they use is so cheap it belonged in dog food. They didn't even know their own menu and forgot to bring the focaccia bread with her entree, then when we asked for it they treated us like we were trying to get something for free. If you're looking for some good appetizers and cocktails, this isn't a bad place, but don't order the entrées because they are not treated with the same respect as the appetizers. Might give this place another try, but not anytime in the near future. Please upgrade your entrées to be just as flavorful as your appetizers.

Nice place, 2nd visit BUT… Beer served out of the tap into in a hot dishwasher glass, served warm. Who does that? Other reviewers mention the entrees being subpar and I can confirm that for sure. Special spicy pickle chicken burger looks like pressed chicken mcnugget meat from the freezer aisle, and the brioche bun was soggy outside and in. Came with 1 small 1 inch pickle slice. 🤷🏼 Total waste of money. The cocktail flight thing was cool, drinks cost city prices (think $15+…in Smokey Point? haha) and the food experience was bad or maybe the kitchen ran out of chicken breast meat and tried to cover it up by going to buy a McChicken and taking out the meat, then jamming it in their doughy brioche. Just poor. Would go back and just have the cocktail flight thing I had during 1st visit…but 100% avoid the food, beer, and cocktails.
