Honokeana Cove — Local services in Maui

Views from unit 108 were greatly enhanced by a mirror on one wall, allowing you to see the ocean. Snorkeling equipment provided in the closet & 2 beach towels. Even a beach chair or two (low) but we didn't use any of those. We brought a inflatable floating raft, but pool toys aren't allowed. Used it once in the ocean, but then you can't put your head in the water to view the fish& turtles. The best feature is the abundance of sea turtles to snorkel with! So fun! The building is not too large, not too many people when we went. And had plenty of BBQ Grills. Not a great place to walk anywhere because no real sidewalks and lots of traffic, and if there's been recent rain you have to worry about being splashed by passing cars driving thru puddles. Other than that, it is/ would be within walking distance to some stores. Wish we'd had more time to walk around the point to Napili Beach. A very nice place to vacation. (No AC except a stand-alone in bedrooms, so if heat bothers you, plan which month to go). We love this place. It is a small two story development. Each condo is owned separately but rented via a single in side management center. They all have a great lanai (deck) facing the cove/ocean, where we spend lots of time reading & watching. There is a full kitchen with all utensils & dishes. And Tv. There are gas grills at the front of the cove. You can snorkel but it's hard to get in and out of the cove as there is a rocky shore. There are typically many sea turtles in the cove and they often sun themselves on the rocky shore. This is a quiet mostly older couple type place with strict bedtime no noise rules. The condo I was staying in has roaches. They did come and spray during my month long stay, but the roaches did not die. Which made it hard for food storage. They do have laundry machines that you can use but for the price of the atay I was surprised they were not in the units and that you had to pay to use them.
