You will be charged a ridiculous cleaning fee and you will have to clean your own unit on first day you walk in the door. Any request you make will be ignored as in order for them to rectify your request would require time and money to be spent. I eventually received a reply from Raenette Camat Front Desk Specialist who purposefully insulted me.
Anything that is advertised in the listing for your rental may or may not be there. Just because you see something in a picture or in a virtual tour, or in someone else's review, does not mean it will be there for your stay. If its absent it’s most likely because it was broken and they never bothered to replace it. They never update anything in the unit. A greeting card was left on the counter when we came in and was probably reused dozens of times as the contact number for Vacasa on the greeting card was to a non existent number. Then you have to call the main office to file your complaint which they then contact the local office who purposefully ignores you until 24 hours before your check out and they commend you for solving your own request when it was never resolved.
Customers who leave a truthful negative review on there actual unit on Vacasa will have the review blocked superficially raising their ratings. If you count the amount of reviews given that you can actually read, and subtract it from the amount of reviews given according to Vacasa, you will always find the amount you can actually read is smaller as the difference between the two are reviews they have suppressed to protect their image with homeowners and customers. This illusion with reviews is the only reason they remain in business. Read reviews for the company itself and you see there is almost nothing good to say.
This company is terrible renting/contracting with anyone else will surely provide better results for customers and...

Let me give you a break down of the good and bad about this place. The good: Great location, you can walk to Lahaina and have access to shops and restaurants, as well as a supermarket 8 minutes walk and the amazing baby beach 12minutes walk. The apartment and complex is good, the pool is nice despite having so much chlorine that you can’t see your feet you have everything you need to accommodate a child, high chair, pack and play which was very helpful. As well as glacière, beach chairs, umbrella.
The bad: -Upon arrival I was not told on which building the apartment was. With 4 luggages, a car seat, a stroller and a one year baby, I had to go all over the complex in order to find the unit. Keep in mind that each building has a name and it would have been so much easier if the host would have disclose the name of the building. once arrived, the wifi provided on the check in email didn’t exist. I looked on different device and nothing. I contacted the host that responded immediately that I should call customer service. I did call 5 times and waited over 1 hour each time but nobody ever picked up. The host responded quick to my first message on Airbnb in order to not lose their response time average but all my further messages were completely ignored and I spend the rest of my vacations without any wifi. And réception in Hawaii isn’t the best. We found dirty clothes and other things under the bed that weren’t ours. -The pool requiere wristband that weren’t provided to us. Parking is $20/day on the property but please know that parking on the street is free (but limited) and a $15/ night parking is...
Read moreWe are visiting Hawaii for the first time and we’re super excited until we had to deal with Vacasa. Before we checked in, we had some questions and their response was very rude. And then, right before we checked in, they told us we couldn’t get in to the place we booked because of the maintenance issue. So they put us in the different place. The place had mold everywhere in the bathroom and stunk so bad, kitchen tools were nasty and more than anything else, we couldn’t even get any hot water in the shower. We were supposed to stay there for 2 weeks, but we didn’t want to stay in the place without hot shower especially we have 2 little kids - we cannot put them in the cold shower! We’d been contacting with them about the issue for 5 days. They never replied to the email or text and when we called the office, one lady was very rude and she just hanged up on us, and they always told us to call back and they never did. The shower was obviously out of service for a long time. Plumber came and told us that they had to shut all the water off the whole building so that’s why they never fixed it. After 5 days without hot shower, they finally moved us to a different condo. We finally got hot shower but the unit was nasty - mold on the kitchen tools, stinking shower curtain….we just gave up on contacting with them. They just ruined our family vacation. We paid big chunk of money so we expected to have a very nice comfortable place. Very disappointed. Front desk girls don’t speak English well, so it’s very hard to communicate with them as well. I hope this review helps you guys and think before you...
