Iconic, Beautiful, Outstanding. This was a beautiful experience, food was great. Service was outstanding, and the restaurant is just Iconic, this is about my 3rd time coming here, and it never fails. Joe’s definitely has a reputation for quality and consistency. We came here become my Cousin came into town and we wanted to celebrate, we drove over an hour. And boy are we glad we made the trip. As soon as we got there you get the views of the restaurant and outside seating area. When you walk in you are greeted with a bar you can sit at before your reservation is up. A little to the right of the entrance is the line and doors to get into the restaurant, there as soon as you walk in you see the Host, and his microphone where he will call like an auctioneer when they open at 5 o’clock. I truly, truly, truly, respect the effort that has gone into this restaurant and every little bit and piece. Ok I know what you’re waiting for, how’s the food?!? Well the food was outstanding, I belong to a family that likes to go all out with appetizers. So we ordered 2 orders of the Baked Clams or “Stuffies” each order came with 3 and we were a party of 6 so it worked out well. However we only ate 4, but rest assured we took the other 2 home. To pair with the Baked Clams we got Fried Calamari, and Conch Fritters, the Calamari was truly amazing. Some of the best I’ve ever had. And the conch fritters were great but they aren’t something I would order again since I want to save room for all the other amazing things on this menu. So we finished our appetizer with a lot left, but of course we took it all home. Now comes the real meal, Dinner! I personally ordered the Twin Lobster tails which are 2 beautiful 6oz tails, broiled and cooked to that red perfection. Another member of my party ordered the Filet Mignon, which was great, but I recommend you stay away from the meats and poultry besides the Fried Chicken, as seafood is the specialty here. Now the Fried Chicken, boy was it finger-licking good, that did not go untouched at our table it was destroyed within minutes. And finally, what everyone has been waiting for, the Stone Crabs, we ordered 3 orders of the Large, which came with 5 claws each for a total of 15 claws. These were delicious, the mustard sauce pairs extremely well, but I personally am a butter guy, always have been, always will. 9.5/10 do recommend. And for the boring part, Dessert. Normally I do not order dessert as I already eat so much for dinner, but I made an exception for the Famous Apple Pie, this isn’t a Apple Pie at all, this is a Apple mess, because it’s so good you’re going to tear it up. TLDR: Joe’s is a fine establishment worth visiting, please, please, please order the Seafood when dining. It is their specialty, so give it a chance even if you don’t like seafood.

Outstanding! An iconic restaurant in Miami/South Beach didn’t disappoint. Service is stellar. The place is huge. We went for a late lunch on Sunday and they could accommodate us but you might want to make a reservation to ensure you can get in. Stone Crab is their speciality but the menu includes other seafood and non seafood items. An assortment of bread is brought to all tables
the croissant was great. My husband and I both ordered the lobster roll which is severed with a pickle and homemade potato chips. It was decadent and delicious and a special treat. Large pieces of lobster and not too much mayo/base. The chips that accompanied it were also excellent. definitely make time to eat at Joe’s! Valet parking available as well as free parking across the street from the restaurant for restaurant patrons.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Joe's Stone Crab, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the appetizers to dessert, each dish showcased exceptional quality and flavor.

Appetizers: A Savory Start We began our meal with the coconut shrimp, which were a delightful surprise. Each bite offered a sweet and delicate flavor, with the shrimp itself being incredibly succulent and tender. It was a perfect balance of crispy exterior and juicy interior. The calamari followed, impressing us with its savory and robust profile. The preparation was spot-on, ensuring a consistently tender chew that made it a joy to eat.

The Main Event: Unforgettable Crab Legs The star of the show, as expected, was the crab legs. These were an absolute triumph, delivering a bold, rich ocean flavor that was both briny and clean, like a fresh ocean breeze. The meat was wonderfully succulent and incredibly tender, practically melting in the mouth. It was a truly satisfying and luxurious experience, capturing the essence of the sea in every bite.

Dessert: A Sweet Ending To round off our meal, we indulged in the classic key lime pie. It was the perfect finale – wonderfully sweet with that characteristic tangy kick, light, and refreshing.

Overall Impression Joe's Stone Crab consistently delivers a remarkable dining experience. The attention to detail in every dish, from the perfectly prepared seafood to the iconic dessert, makes it a must-visit. We left feeling thoroughly satisfied and already looking forward to...

The jumbo crab claws with mustard sauce are incredible.

They also have a branch in Las Vegas.

My visit to Joe's Stone Crab in Miami Beach was an unforgettable. Established in 1913, Joe's Stone Crab has not only become a gastronomic landmark but also a living testament to the enduring spirit of Miami's early days and the evolution of its culinary landscape.

đŸïž Early Beginnings: Joe's Stone Crab was founded by Joe Weiss, who initially operated a small lunch counter serving fish sandwiches and simple seafood dishes. However, it was the serendipitous discovery of the delectable flavor of stone crab claws that transformed the humble eatery into the renowned establishment it is today. Joe's Stone Crab quickly gained popularity among locals and tourists alike, making it a must-visit destination for seafood enthusiasts from around the world.

🩀 The Stone Crab Sensation: The fame of Joe's Stone Crab owes much to its signature dish, the stone crab claws. Harvested from the waters of Florida, stone crabs were initially considered bycatch in the fishing industry. However, Joe Weiss recognized the unique taste and tenderness of these claws and introduced them to his menu. Since then, the stone crab claws have become the highlight of Joe's menu, attracting food...
