recently went to the miami beach location on Thursday of this week, Upon arrival an employee named Jason announces to the store that they have sold the last omega series watch but are expecting a new shipment of Omega watches that same day, he also assured the whole store that the customers would definitely be able to purchase an Omega series watch on Friday Saturday or Sunday of this week. I returned to the store today to find that all the watches in the Omega series were now in stock at the store but was informed that I was not able to purchase a watch because according to Jason the watches are only being sold at unannounced random "Power hours" to ensure everyone is able to get one. Beyond being counterintuitive and a horrible business practice. Jason lied to me and the whole store earlier this week on Thursday when he said without a doubt I would be able to purchase an Omega series watch if I were to return some time this weekend. He also stated that there were only 4 models available for sale today instead of the whole series that the store had in stock being available for purchase. Honestly I am very upset by being lied to and refused service as a customer. This is selective sales and I feel discriminated against as Jason is the person that decides when and who the omega series swatches can be purchased at/by. I feel like these watches might be going straight to the secondary market via a friend of Jason or another employee coming in when its decided by Jason that it's 'power hour' and the watches can be purchased. Is this random "power hour" purchase policy that of the Swatch company or just specifically for this store created by Jason? either way I will be contacting the better business bureau regarding this practice as never in my life have I experienced something so unfair and wrong in a professional retail...
Read morei have own and collected many swatch watches, I love them, i live in palm beach, and there are no closed by stores anymore, i took a trip down to south beach where i bought my last favorite swatch watch, to change the battery, was on a Monday, traffic was horrible, I arrived to see the store manager Rosa, working alone, big mess of merchandise all over the counter and boxes everywhere, she told she was too busy to change a battery, i insisted, she was not happy, i left the watch, came back an hour later, by the time I got home 1 1/2 hr. drive, the watch had moisture in it, and wasn't working. she never answer the phones calls, i contacted customer survive, spend $28 to ship it, to have send back, I was told I was going to have a curtesy warranty replacement, base on what happened. Polycarpe, Nakethia the manager at Swatch Group Warranty Exception customer service, lie to me, the watch was send back, warranty expired, she new that, purchase an unauthorized dealer, not true, i sent copies on my purchase and original package, like a collector, reach out again to her, now she claimed the watch work perfectly. I will never buy another swatch, i will never go to the store in south beach, and i will have my lawyer take care of this, an expert watch repair shop in palm beach told me, apparently Rosa damage the watch changing the battery, maybe she did like me or the fact that i insisted please, all i need is a battery change. $300 watch ruined, by the manager, neither her or swatch customer service are taken any action or responsibility to help me as a good long time customer. I have all documents and receipts, this is a...
Read moreI wish to have another swatch store in the Miami are. I live on south beach few blocks from the store. I’ve been trying to buy myself a Moonswatch since the week they announced it’s available. I’ve been countless times at the store, including staying in the line before opening and any other possible business hours. I passed by at least 20 times in the past 5 months. They never had any watch available in any color, nonetheless to say I’ve never seen anyone walking out the door with a watch either. I have 2-3 other friends in the same shoes, they have been at the store countless times and none of them managed to get a watch. Staff is most of the time rude and look annoyed by the people trying to put their hands on this model.
Dear swatch store staff! It’s not the customers fault that the company isn’t producing enough watches or you guys pass them all to your friends and cousins to resell them on eBay and stock x. I know you’re annoyed of the influx of people walking in and only interested in this model but you should still be nice to us since we’re willing to spend our hard earned dollars at your store. Rosa 50/60 year old lady is by far the worst. I would’ve expect from a Swiss watch brand to hire professional and competent people at one of their flagship stores.
Dear Swatch! I hope you can fix this and make a drop on your website like high end sneaker brands do so everyone have a fair chance. With all the corrupt Miami Beach swatch store employees we will never have a chance to get a watch for the official...
