Read moreMy friends and I (a group of 4) went to this location on Sunday, February 25th from about 11:05 - 12:30 pm. Our waiter was Octavious, he was very friendly and accommodating, at times. He took our coffee order and then our meal order between 11:15 am – 11:21 am. We sat and patiently waited for our food. We were not offered any bread, any water, no one came to check on us while waiting for our breakfast. At around 11:51 am, I asked to speak to the manager about the wait time for our food. The manager came, listened to our question, and rudely responded with a very major attitude and said that we had just put our order in 15 mins. ago and that our food was coming, and we had to wait. We explained that we put our order over 30 mins and the food never came. He was rude, unapologetic and did not care to listen to what we had to say. My friend asked him why he was answering us with an attitude, and he said that he doesn’t have an attitude and we were being impatient. While still waiting for our food, the manager brought water and said absolutely nothing to us with an attitude. We had to ask our waiter for some bread that he was bringing to another table and then hand it over to us. The whole experience brought disappointment to something that we were looking forward to. We finally received our food and some of the meal orders were incorrect, toast was cold and hard, eggs not cooked as requested. We ate our meal, but it wasn’t enjoyable, especially after we had a wonderful time the day before at The South Beach Food & Wine Festival. While waiting for our breakfast, the restaurant placed a customer next to us, who was offered bread, got his water, got his pasta meal, ate, paid for his meal all while we were waiting for our breakfast. I don’t want to assume that this location of Cheesecake Factory was racially profiling us, but it felt like it. I will NEVER go back to that location again for the way the manager was talking to us and made us feel. He was rude, insincere, and we were outright embarrassed for something that we did not do or had any control over. Email sent to...
Read moreGuest Experience, Not the Food – Extremely Disappointed Cheesecake Factory, Lincoln Road, Miami – Visit on 11 July 2025 at 18:15
This review is strictly about guest experience and customer care — not the food.
The Lincoln Road branch is, without question, the worst Cheesecake Factory I’ve visited — and I say this with confidence, having been to dozens across several countries.
I arrived at a time when the restaurant was practically empty. As I usually do, I politely requested a table with a sofa seat. Despite many being available, I was abruptly told I couldn’t have one. I expressed that I would prefer to dine where I feel comfortable — and would otherwise leave — and the hostess, shockingly, just responded by suggesting I go ahead and leave.
Still trying to understand this unprofessional behaviour, I asked to speak with the manager. The manager never showed up, but suddenly, the sofa table became available.
When I commented on this, the hostess dismissively replied, “Do you want it or not?” — an incredibly rude and unacceptable tone for someone in a front-facing role.
Being a hostess isn’t just about a pretty face — it’s about representing the brand, offering a warm welcome, and handling guests with emotional intelligence and grace. Especially in a multicultural, tourist-driven city like Miami, staff must be trained to engage with all types of clientele.
I strongly suggest the management invests in proper training for the door staff, a professional with this specific lady would also help. A cultural exchange with the host teams in Dubai would be an eye-opener — there, customer service is treated with the respect it deserves.
A very disappointing experience from a brand I...
