My husband and I have been going to the mall about once a week just to get out of the house and do something during the cold weather. I always peek in on the cats. There was a beautiful cat there who had the cutest sign on her cage. She is a big girl and her sign said please don't call me fat it hurts my feelings. She was there every time we went. 2 weeks ago when we were planning our day I told my husband if she was there we were bringing her home. He rolled his eyes and I don't think he believed me. When we got to the store her cage was empty and I was so sad. I went in and asked the woman working and she said oh yes she's still here and pointed to the little side room. I said ok and left. We wandered around the mall and I told him we were taking her home. I went back in and filled out the paperwork and got to do a meet with this big girl and fell for her. She is very shy and wasn't super happy with me talking to her. but I just knew she needed a home. She has been here with me for 2 weeks now and she gets along well with my other cat, but is still super cautious of humans. she will walk around but if you talk to her she runs and hides. she loves to be pet but only if you can reach into her hiding spot. Definitely glad I stopped in and found her. :) Will recommend this location to anyone looking for...
Read moreMy husband and I got our first cat Parker from Meowza back in October 2019. He immediately fit in with us so well and he is such a great cat. However he has separation anxiety and hates being alone. So we finally gave in and got him a kitten from Meowza just a week ago. They are now inseparable and we definitely see an improvement with Parker’s anxiety. The overall experience with Meowza on both vists were wonderful. When we come in on our second visit, Leslie was so sweet and gave great advise on getting a second cat. She was a great help on finding the perfect furry friend for Parker. You can clearly see how much the staff at Meowza cares for the cats and how willing they are to find the perfect homes for them. We are so happy with our fur babies: Parker James &...
Read morePerhaps they wouldn’t have a sign up selling adult cats & kittens for a discount to get rid of them if the staff weren’t so rude and judgmental ! I’m so very saddened that the staff would turn their nose up at individuals with disabilities that were just admiring the cute kittens from the window. To my knowledge the Dayton mall is a public mall and all are welcomed , and to tell an individual that they can’t enter the store solely based on appearance and disability is very discriminatory. The management should be appalled and disgusted! This is the second time we have visited Meowza boutique and have encountered the same type of energy. I hope additional customers service training is given to the staff...
