Hey Gus,

You need to have someone else handling your phone calls besides Victor. Poor customer service. It seems that customer service is an issue in the jewelry business when it comes to proper communication. It's crazy how these businesses take in thousands of dollars but lack the most simple thing known as customer service.

Also, your comment about putting me on hold is a lie. No one ever answered my call or returned my call until I did a review. And you know I have screenshots to prove it, which I will post. I don't have a pattern of leaving bad reviews. All my reviews are real when a company's customer service is poor. I have reviews for companies that provided good customer service. Trying to paint a false narrative won't work. Your company's customer service is horrible. Victor lied to you, telling you that he placed me on hold when, in fact, he never answered your phone. I called 5 times and texted the phone number directly before I placed my review experience. The review was placed after he would not even reply back to my questions in the text messages which are proof that the messages started at 12:35pm on January 18, 2025. Now I see why the customer service sucks. When a customer tells you the truth (review), you turn around and try to lie to cover up the bad customer service. The text messages don't lie. I dare you to try and make another false response about my experience. Your response shows how much of a lie your trying to paint. How can you claim to be closed, and then in the same statement say that my call was answered and I was told that I would be placed on hold 🤔. Were you closed or open? Gus villa jewelery was very easy to work with. I had Gus source a 18238 Rolex day date. Told him my budget. Came under just a little also. Put my deposit down and had the rest wired over, was going to wire all of the money but figured a situation could pop up with a “what if” since I never met the guy, or been to his store so once he confirmed he got the wire I sent the rest. He personally FaceTimed me and let me see it to make sure I was happy with it. Watch was shipped nice and fast. Box was nicely secured with it inside wrapping paper/tissue. And inside another bag, inside a protective box. Overall I am very happy, it isn’t my first jewelry purchase as this isn’t my first Rolex and I have bought and traded in 10K / 14Karat gold cuban link chains ranging from 100 grams all the way up to what I have now which is a 1068.3 gram Cuban link. But with that said up front I was nervous about spending the money online as all my purchases were set up on instagram and I drove to people to purchase items ( other shops ) . But Gus made it less nerve wracking and helped me with all my questions off instagram and personally answered the phone for me. Which eased my nervousness a lot. It won’t be my last Rolex or purchase from Gus and hopefully one day I’ll be able to drive down to his store to meet his awesome crew and himself personally to shake his hand as he totally changed my view on jewelery/ precious metals and I’ve been around a lot of precious metals with and buying / trading. Whether it be chains bracelets rings watches or bullion. Etc

Amazing & Beautiful jewelry artwork & craftsmanship!

This is an honest review from interacting with Gus Villa Jewelry (GVJ) for the last five months.

Gus & team at GVJ created this wonderful jewelry masterpiece with this 24” 12.5mm GOS (gold over silver) handmade infinity style (no lock) Miami Cuban link necklace. The necklace is now 3 months old and holding up very well to active use even though it is a little heavy at 218 grams to wear daily including sleep. The fit feel aesthetics and attention to details are all of high quality and craftsmanship. The attached pictures are from when the necklace 1st arrived and other than some very light wearing away of the gold layer in small spots in between a few links, which are not very visible when worn, the necklace is holding up very well. This necklace exhibits strong neck presence and usually is a topic of interest / discussion when out in public.

If helpful, I am very new & novice to precious metals and Miami Cuban link necklaces and Gus & team are very helpful knowledgeable and honest every time I interact with them. I never feel rushed or pressured when chatting with the team.

If there would be one area of recommendation for potential improvement for the company it could be around “quality control” however calling up GVJ and speaking to a representative quickly alleviates any concerns and remedies the situation completely. The current team and company seems to go above and beyond to provide high level beautiful jewelry artworks.
