At first sight, Doggie VIP seemed like a nice reliable place to leave my baby while traveling. Their rating was high and the reviews were good... I proceeded to talk to the owners (who work on-site) to make sure they were reliable and we actually did a 1 day trial to make sure my doggie was comfortable with the other doggies at the daycare. Everything went well, so the following week I left my doggie and left to Europe. Next thing I know, around EOD (Miami time) Doggie VIP sends me a message via whatsapp (through the daycare account) saying that my dog's eye was closed shut, itchy, and had some secretion coming out... they also included a picture and said that they would come check on him the next day at 7am. I immediately called back to gather more info to see what was going on, but the employees had left for the day and surprise! they left my dog in the daycare without medical attention overnight!!!! In the meantime, I was so worried but couldn't do anything until Doggie VIP opened next morning. Next day, I called at 7am sharp, an employee answered and told me that my dog had gotten worst and couldn't move.. She said the eye was so swollen and sent me a picture. I panicked and asked what happened to my baby in the first place, she said nobody knew....I told her to take my dog to emergencies and she answered that they had to wait for the owner of the daycare to arrive (She was supposed to arrive at 7am to check on my dog). I called 30 min later, I was desperate and didn't know anyone in Miami who could go pick my dog up (I had just moved to Miami). Again the owner hadn't arrived yet. It took her until 10am to arrive and decide to take my dog to emergencies. I was crying and looking for flights back.... I asked Doggie VIP to keep me posted as soon as they arrived to the vet. (they told me that the husband of the owner was leaving with my dog around 10am, then I receive a call from the vet around 11am saying "Hello, we just wanted to confirm that you are bringing Tae (my dog) as an emergency? We are ready for her." I freaked out, Vladimir (the husband of Doggie VIP's owner) wasn't at the vet yet and 1 hour had passed by.... I called his wife, (the owner) and she tells me "yes my husband is already at the vet and your dog is being taken care of," I told her that the vet had just called me and that my dog wasn't at the vet yet and she became nervous and told me that she didn't know where her husband was.... Long story short... my dog ended up hitting the vet around 12pm (I don't know why!). Then Vladimir calls me saying that he is at the vet but he has things to do so he will leave my dog there alone.... I said "NO, please stay with my dog because I want to know what the doctor is saying and what the doctor would do to her" Well, he left anyways..... I desperately called the doctor directly since my dog needed to be transferred to an eye specialist because her eye was tremendously infected. Again, Vladimir was supposed to pick my dog up & take her to the eye clinic but he decided to take his time and took a few hours to do so. I was pissed, desperate, worried!!! When my dog arrived at Animal Eye guys Vladimir called me & told me that the doctor said it was a tooth infection, I believed him.... I finally landed & picked up my baby. The doctor confirmed that it was NOT a tooth infection! Doggie VIP lied so I wouldn't blame them. The reality was: My dog was bitten by another dog, the eye was left wounded overnight & the bacteria ate my dog's cornea to the last layer in some areas (attached pictures/you can see the teeth marks on my dog head). My dog required 12 meds a day for 5 months and a skin flap emergency surgery. Up until now my dog hasn't recovered fully & the last layer of her eye punctured yesterday. She just underwent a second surgery for corneal transplant this time.. Doggie VIP did no give a care, CHARGED me for the emergency doctor while I was away! CHARGED me for the daycare service! & said I should be thankful that they took my dog to the doctor because that WASN'T their responsibility.

We are obsessed with this place! I’ve been taking my dog Santé here for over 2 years and have never had anything less than a fantastic experience. All the employees genuinely care about the dogs. We live in the area and whenever we pass them walking Santé loves to see them and they always say hi and remember his name. I’ve used them for boarding, daycare, and baths and they’re amazing for all 3. The manager Richie makes you feel so comfortable leaving your pet. I had to leave Santé one time for over 2 weeks and they checked in multiple times a day with pictures and videos and texts every single day. The peace of mind I have with using them is the only reason I feel comfortable traveling so often! I prefer using them over friends and family bc they’re so amazing and Santé genuinely loves going there! Thank you so much doggie VIP, we don’t know what we would do without you!

THEY ARE THE BEST!! I was always weary of allowing "strangers" into my home and to take care of my furbaby. During Tyson's first walk, I received a WhatsApp message from Doggie VIP - it was a picture of Tyson on his walk, and a message saying "1 and 2, soft stool." LOL Not only do I have peace of mind getting an update after his walks, I have peace of mind in knowing that these people are good people who LOVE the dogs they walk and watch! Every time Tyson sees them he cries out of excitement. They even celebrated Tyson on his birthday. They dressed him up and he was SO happy!! (See the pic :) ). THANK YOU DOGGIEVIP for always taking care of my baby!

To be frank, I’m sad to even be writing this review. I wanted so so badly to love Doggie VIP for its convenience and cuteness. That all came crashing to a halt. I went and visited the “daycare” prior to leaving my pup (who I was planning on leaving during weekdays). I wanted to check out the area, as well as telling them about my dog/his fears. To my horror, the daycare that has been advertised as both luxurious and covered with cameras (so that owners can watch) is basically no more than a couple of VERY small rooms, slammed with dogs, and full of crates. The Miami Dade Kill Shelter is more inviting. There is also a room where there are no cameras, which is of course not mentioned anywhere. After seeing the physical location of this place, I decided against leaving my doggy there for daycare. I decided to try out their walks instead! Huge. Mistake. First of all, this place has an ENORMOUS problem with communication. No one talks to each other, employees don’t communicate with each other, no one talks to the pet owners, I’m not sure who answers the texts/calls/emails, but the information is inconsistent and frankly feels made up most of the time. The first walk I scheduled for my dog did not go well. He was supposed to be out for 50 minutes and I’m pretty sure walked about 15. Yes, my dog was not happy to be coming out of his crate and was being a bit grumpy, but I had gone prior (read above) to specifically explain how my dog can be, and I asked them NOT to reach their hands in the crate. The Doggie VIP employees sent me a video of them doing exactly that. I decided to give them a second chance. After writing this all out, I’m honestly not sure why the hell I gave them another shot. Laziness? Convenience? Whatever it was, IT WAS NOT WORTH IT. I texted the night before asking to schedule a walk, and they replied the following morning confirming a walk beginning between 1-2 PM and that they would keep me informed. No one kept me informed, and I texted them at 4:00 to ask what was going on with my dog. They said he had already been walked, and someone had just forgotten to contact me (again. Notice the pattern?). After the first incident, I hand wrote a bulleted list of very simple and specific instructions. Guess what? They couldn’t follow them. My dog is being crate trained, which is very obvious considering the massive crate in my apartment, but for anyone who may not be quick to pick up on things I wrote it down as well. Surprise, surprise. I came home to my dog fully out of the cage, having eaten god knows what. Let me end my review with this: if you hate animals, go ahead and leave your pet with Doggie VIP. If you care about your pet, you are better off leaving them alone in your apartment than with these people. To be clear: I would rather my dog eat my mattress, beds, and excrete all over my floor than to EVER let one of these people touch my dog again. I will be filing a formal complaint in addition to this review: I am FURIOUS, and I feel as though I have just paid to have my dog neglected, abused, and...

This is going to be a long review, but I cannot sing enough praises for Doggie VIP. I have only been going to Doggie VIP for a little over 2 months, but my experience has been absolutely wonderful. This place really loves the dogs they care for and have made me feel so comfortable as an owner every time I left my dog with them. I first started with Doggie VIP shortly after I moved into the building where they are located. They had a 14 year old boston terrier that needed to be re-homed. This was someone else's dog that was boarding with Doggie VIP, and her family wanted to bring her to a shelter, but Doggie VIP loved her so much that they took it upon themselves to find this senior dog a new home - how awesome is that? Through them we met our dog Nina and decided to adopt her. Over the past few months Nina has gone to dog daycare with them 2-3 times a week. They really loved her. She was slow and old, and deaf, and they were still so loving with her and treated her just as well as some of the more active and friendly, younger dogs. They would send me pictures every now & then of her just being cute doing regular things - the kind of pictures that usually only an owner really loves (her smiling while walking in the sun, her sleeping in her dog bed looking adorable, her snuggling in the arms of one of the staff). They were always so responsive and easy to work with, they were only a text away and answered quickly. This past weekend my husband went home out of state and left Nina to be boarded. Unfortunately she experience a medical emergency, but the the Doggie VIP staff were so quick to respond. They recognized that her breathing was labored and right away took her to the pet ER which is 30 mins away and stayed with her well past their business hours. I am so thankful that she was with people who knew her so well to recognize that something was wrong. Sadly, this event was too much for our old girl to pull through, and we had to let Nina go just a week shy of her 15th birthday. The staff at Doggie VIP mourned with us and were so supportive. They had such kind words for us during this difficult time. Again, they truly loved Nina, and it showed. We cannot thank the staff at Doggie VIP enough for everything they did for us & for Nina, and for everything they continue to do for the dogs that they care for. I would recommend them 1000x over if you are looking for a place that will treat your dog like their own. When we get another dog, I wouldn't take them anywhere other than Doggie...
