EDITING MY REVIEW:

New Review: The manager (who I believe his name is Luca) told us the leave because I didn’t want to order something to eat at THAT EXACT MOMENT. “I’m not stupid”, no one said you were stupid, you are very very rude, disrespectful and impolite. I guess you read my old review and you didn’t like what you read huh? Other servers told me how rude you are to them too. Believe me, other servers were really nice, you’re the problem.

Old Review:

Ok, in short words: food is good ambience great customer service not good at all.

Now, more context. I came here with a friend to work on my laptop. I was planning on staying here for at least 5 hours working and of course I was going to buy food and drinks. The manager came to ask what and when we were going to order. I explained to him that I didn’t want to order anything now but I’ll do later. I guess he didn’t trust that I was going to stay longer. He rudely said “this is not a library”. Listen, I understand we have to consume, I didn’t have a problem with that at all. In fact, I love to eat and drink coffee. Staying to work on my laptop means I will consume (because I need to eat). I’ve never had this problem in other restaurants, it’s usually a polite conversation. It was the attitude of the manager that wasn’t welcoming.

I’m not surprised other bad reviews are because of the attitude of the manager…

Other than that, the rest of the staff members were nice, food is great and I love...

English: I put a star because you can't give less! As an Italian I am ashamed of such a place. The products are good, delicious but the service and management is like a bad Italian bar. They make you wait a long time for orders, prices seem to be fluctuating more than on Wall Street. They say that from 7pm they apply a 50% discount but it is not absolutely certain. You have to be the one to ask him every time. I thought it was a mistake, however, looking at the treatment reserved for other customers, while I was there waiting, everyone did not receive the discount. I've seen people pay $ 100 when they should have paid $ 50! This attitude is especially typical of male employees except the employee Carlos who is the only honest man who works there. The girls are ok, perfect, caring, kind but they don't let them go near the cashier anymore. I don't know the owner's criterion for hiring, but looking through the many negative reviews and seeing with my own eyes what happens in there, I think it's a business choice to make them work like this. The justification for complaining is that "the boy is new, we are training him, sorry for the misunderstanding". Classic Italian phrase that is said to tourists who visit beautiful Italy. As an Italian I am ashamed of this and I did not think it possible that this incorrect technique could be used in Miami. I advise you to go to many other places, equally valid for quality and with truly impeccable service. Maybe I'll come back to this place, just because I live in the same building, but if I find the same treatment again I don't think they'll see me again. I hope the owner gives himself a shock and takes the right steps to ensure this continues to be a truly...

Came here about a couple of weeks ago. I didn't know that they actually have a location in America. This cute bakery is located right behind Aria on the Bay luxury condos by Margaret Park. They don't have a lot of seating outside but plenty of tables inside.

Ordering is simple. You just go up to the counter and select from the display or chalkboard menu, then they bring the food to the table. Besides the fresh-made baked goods, they also offer croissants, crostinis, sandwiches, salads, pizzas, and even meat boards. And of course, some of the most beautiful desserts I've seen. I was with 3 other people so we just ordered a bunch of stuff to share. We got a couple of croissant sandwiches which were very fresh. Also added a Caesar salad which was pretty decent. We also shared the mushroom and vegan focaccia but we thought the bread was just too much. It definitely needed more toppings cause the bread was very thick. Our favorites were the desserts especially the one the shaped LOVE. It was something I've never tasted before. It wasn't too sweet but just right and soft too. I wish I remember the name :)

This bakery is definitely worth checking out. Great for breakfast or lunch while working or studying. I didn't try their coffee but my friends did and they said it was good as well. Will be back if I'm...

What to Eat During a 5-Day 4-Night Miami Trip 🍽️

It’s a small, simply decorated Italian bakery located just a few blocks north of the Adrienne Arsht Theater, and adjacent to the Margaret Pace Park: a great place for a stroll by the sea. Parking however, is difficult to find. The owner comes from the same Italian city where I grew up: they have great bakeries all over the city, therefore I was really excited when I heard that they were opening a bakery in Miami too, and I was looking forward to try them. As soon as you come in (on the 2nd floor) you see a big display full of desserts, panini and pizzas. Everything you see there is homemade, and they also have a very small selection of wine and beers. We were here for lunch: I ordered a “ham and cheese crostino” while my husband had a panino with tomato, mozzarella and arugula. Unfortunately my expectations were probably too high: the food is just ok and too expensive for its quality. I was also surprised not to see a wider variety of Italian pastries (also expensive). On a positive note, all baked stuff is sold at ½ price after 7pm. The staff is friendly, but I don’t know if I’ll be back, considering that I’ve had better experiences in other Italian bakeries in Miami, which happen to be cheaper as well.

Paolo Fontanot is a culinary haven that perfectly combines the comfort of hearty sandwiches with the warmth of exceptional coffee. Nestled within its cozy ambiance, the bakery offers a delightful experience where each bite and sip is a moment of pure enjoyment. The sandwich selection is a testament to culinary creativity, featuring an array of options that cater to various tastes and preferences. From classic deli-style sandwiches to gourmet creations, the focus on quality ingredients and thoughtful combinations is evident in every bite. Complementing the savory delights is superb coffee offerings. The aroma of freshly brewed beans fills the air, inviting you to indulge in a rich and flavorful cup of coffee that perfectly complements your sandwich of choice. The attentive and friendly staff adds to the overall positive experience, ensuring that your dining journey is both satisfying and seamless. Whether you're seeking a quick pick-me-up or a leisurely meal, this place is where the art of sandwiches meets the magic of coffee. With its delectable offerings and inviting atmosphere, it's a delightful spot to savor the perfect union of flavors and comfort.
