I came to Miami for a conference at the JW Marriott and decided to fly in a little early to treat myself to a massage and pedicure. Unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. First, the facility is old and feels run down. The spa robe they provided for the day was an above the knee terry robe that didn't feel like it covered enough when you are walking around in a public place. It also felt like an old scratchy towel that had been washed 1,000 times. After my massage I actually changed out of it because it wouldn't have been appropriate for my pedicure. The slippers they provided were also tearing and very old. Next, the relaxation room was in a room full of floor to ceiling windows which would have been great if there was a view but all you could see was the high rise next door. It would be nicer if it was a dark calming room where you could truly relax. My massage therapist was decent, but I was disappointed to have been put in a couples massage room. This may not have bothered most people but it felt weird to me. After I changed I was escorted to my pedicure which took place in a crammed room with loud music playing. The pedicurist put in her ipods and proceeded to grab her phone and put on music I guess that she would enjoy. Unfortunately she was very inexperienced and did a poor job. There was no foot massage and she finished up in about 20 minutes. I could have gone down the street to a local place and gotten a better pedicure for half the price. The hotel is actually very nice and in a great location but its spa does not live up to the standards...

I went to the Enliven spa during Miami Spa Month and got a great deal on the signature massage! My masseuse was Fernanda and she was incredible! This was the best massage I have ever gotten. She was very thorough, especially on my back and my legs, and it felt so great that I didn’t want to get up when my session was over. She did a foot scrub and wrap as well and the foot massage was awesome! The aromatherapy scents she used smelled really good and helped me relax. I highly recommend the Signature Massage with Fernanda!! My friend got the head to toe, Glow body polish massage and facial package with Soraya and she said her experience was amazing as well! She has sensitive skin and had some heat rash on her face and Soraya was responsive to her needs. She used a product for sensitive skin in her facial and my friend’s skin was glowing afterwards. We wish we weren’t Miami tourists so that we could return to...

The desk assistant was nice but the masseuse and facial masseuse were mediocre. Nothing too fancy or special about this spa except being attached to the JW Marriott brand. I brought my mother and I to this spa for her birthday and nothing special was done for her. For the amount I paid, I expected better services. For the facials, both were suppose to be 75 minutes but she only did it for 60-65 minutes. Out of the 60-65 minutes, 20 minutes were for a face mask. It was very disappointing and would not return for any spa services. In addition, she stepped out twice for a while. As for the masseuse, she was ok. Relieve the knots but nothing extra.
