If I could rate LESS than one star, I would. Me, my husband, and our 2 year old daughter went into this restaurant, waited in the line, then got up to the register finally. While we were there, we attempted to order our food while a thousand other people kept cutting me off mid sentence to ask the lady behind the register questions. So we ordered our food, gave the lady our debit card, and waited 10 minutes before she handed it back because she was talking to everyone else around us! So we sat down while we waited for her to stop talking to everyone and she approached us with our card at the table and said it was declined. I don’t mean to toot my own horn but I had more than $6,000 in my account so I attempted to explain that there’s no possible way it was declined but there was a language barrier so all she kept saying was “it’s ok, it’s ok” and then she left us alone. But we continued to sit while we called my bank and our buzzer started going off because the food we ordered was ready so we got the food thinking they gave it to us for free but mid way thru feeding our daughter her meal, a different woman and a male worker approached us and said our card was declined so we HAVE to pay for our meal right NOW. I said no problem, go run my card again because there’s nothing with it and they told me no they can’t because their system is down. So it wasn’t that my card was declined, it was that their system was down. So I couldn’t pay with my card but that’s all I had, no cash. They said I HAVE TO PAY NOW and by that time, they were saying it so loud and firm that I was HIGHLY embarrassed. I told them again that I only have a card and what did they expect me to do. So they pointed across the street and TOLD me to go get cash from the bank atm across the street. I told them they’re being ridiculous and they are embarrassing my family. They said sorry but I have to pay so I was forced to get up and do a walk of shame in front of everyone who overheard the conversation to go get cash in the MIDDLE of our meal. They told my husband to stay in the restaurant with my daughter as if we’d run off on the check!! I WAS MORTIFIED AND I WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN.

EDITING IN RESPONSE TO OWNERS RESPONSE*

I do NOT accept your apology, the way this restaurant is ran is RIDICULOUS and embarrassing! I will never eat at this establishment again and I hated your employees ethics and nasty attitudes. IF YOUR MACHINES ARENT WORKING THEN TELL THE CUSTOMER THAT AT THE REGISTER AND DONT EMBARRASS THEM IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE...

On Sunday, August 3, 2025, I came here with my colleagues for a late lunch. Long story short, I ordered a burger and it was good. I didn't eat all of my burger, so I requested a takeout container. After leaving the dining table to pay for my meal at the counter, I returned to find my colleague's and my takeout containers were gone. I asked the waitress where our food was. She ignored me. I asked again, "Where was my food?" Then she started crying, and the staff started running to her aid. I told the staff that I wanted to speak to the manager. The manager came out, and I explained that the waitress tossed my food in the trash because it was gone. The ultimate slap in the face, instead of offering me a refund or remaking my food, the manager said he would offer me a free dessert. I told the manager, No, I want my food and to hold the waitress accountable. The staff were not listening to me, but instead consoling the waitress. Sadly, the disrespect came when the waitress stopped crying and went to the trash can, and then she pulled out my takeout container to hand it to me. At that point, my colleagues and I were pissed. We called her and the staff out for the poor service and disrespect. Ultimately, my food was made again by the cooks, but I didn't eat it because they could have spat in it. The disrespect from this place to their customers is deplorable. I will never return to this place again. How dare this place throw my food away and then put it in the trash to...

One of my regular go-to places to order from when I'm not in the mood to cook and don't want to spend a fortune on a weekday dinner. The food here is flavorful and the taste is consistent, making the restaurant a sure bet when you just don't want to take your chance somewhere else with one of the many similar type of restaurants in the downtown area. I have had a favorable experience each time I've gone either by myself or others to this particular restaurant. I recommend it.

The restaurant itself is large and has a good amount of tables so bring your group and enjoy some of their Peruvian-inspired dishes or their appetizingly-seasoned, zesty rotisserie chicken. Parking is somewhat of a challenge as this place does not have onsite parking and mainly cater to the downtown dwellers and employees or the guests of the nearby hotels.

The menu is extensive and and varied. You will find chicken dishes, seafood dishes, pork, sandwiches and all of them are offered in individual combination-type style. Most are a protein and you choose your sides. There is a station with different style of sauces and chopped onions dressings. You can select mild ones to spicy ones. All of them are very flavorful and can be used to spice up your beans, rice or whatever your choice is. Desserts are offered but is not something I usually get so I can't review them. Overall, a great inexpensive Latin-style restaurant that...
