I don't normally post reviews but since my experience was so terrible I had to write in. My coworker referred me to Kyes for my wedding; I wanted to treat my bridesmaids to cute accessories for the upcoming day. When I got to the store, I was super excited bc it was exactly what I was looking for so I got to shopping! As I looked around I noticed an Asian man following me down each isle, I said nothing. When I reached for a garter, the Asian man approached me and told me to put the garter down "it's not a toy."I told the man that I knew it was not a toy and intended to buy it. Then he asked me if I knew that I had to spend $100.00 at the store. I said yes. I asked the man who he was and why he felt the need to question me, he told me he was the owner of the store and if I had a problem with his questions,I should leave, so I did! This man assumed that I could not afford $100.00 and that I had no need for the garter because I was BLACK. No other reason. I was racially profiled. Ive been shopping wholesale at this place for over three years, I've sent people here, I've come with people from out of town, and I have always come with my teenage children without a problem... today I come in with a frown and four girls and one of the ladies who works or owns or cleans the place ( idk and idc), tells me that unless every single person is making a separate purchase we are not allowed in the store. She kicked us out just like that. I am beyond offended, because I am certain it's a matter of double standards for the simple fact that I'm in tennis shoes and picked up my hair in two ponytails today... it's a shame how these people handle...
