Iâve lived here for about 2.5 years now. Building itself is very nice, very modern, nice location, and amazing views. Upkeep is pretty good, aside from their being dog pee in the elevators about half the time, everything is kept pretty clean. The maintenance, Jorge, is very friendly and always useful any time I have an issue. Sometimes it takes a few weeks for them to get to my problem, but they are always very kind when they do come. I live in a 1BR1BA, and overall the unity is pretty nice. The shower in my opinion feels kind of outdated, and out of place, and the washer/dryer is a very small, cheap, and loud model, which I find weird since everything else in the unit is very nice. The building is closed, requiring a key to enter the garage, lobby, and to get to your specific floor in the elevator, which is nice, but somehow I still get solicitors on occasion, which is annoying. You have the standard issues of people screaming in the hallways at 2:00 AM, and neighborâs dogs barking all day long, but by far the biggest drawback about the building is the management. Half the time I go to the lobby/office with an issue there is nobody there at all, and no working number I can call. Which can be particularly frustrating when they are holding one of my packages hostage for days. Management is not very useful for any problems I have. Theyâve given away my assigned parking spot before, then reassigned a spot 3x further away from the door. Iâve also had someone else park in my spot for days at a time, and they just told me to park in the (unsecured) visitor parking, and refused to do anything about the issue for weeks. I finally had to track down the carâs owner myself and ask them to not park in my spot. You are also required to pay a monthly exterminator fee, but 90% of the time when I ask the manager to have the exterminator come to my apartment, they never actually send them (despite me still paying.) Also, my bedroom will flood after every big storm (as in standing water all around my bed), and they say there is nothing they can do about it, and it happens to everyone on the west side of the building. So I just have to sleep on my couch for the next few days, as the moldy carpet will make me nauseous and irritate my airway, making it difficult to breathe if you are in there for a while. Management just really doesnât care once you sign a lease. They also offer rewards to residents who write 5 stars reviews, so it would probably be a good idea to disregard most of those. Overall, the building is certainly overpriced for what you are getting, and I plan on finding somewhere else to live once this lease is over, but it could...
Read moreMy husband and I have been living here for 5 months already. Overall, our apartment is nice, the building has nice amenities and is conveniently located to places we visit on a regular. However, we will not get into another lease once our lease ends in November. We are not a couple who asks for a lot, but we expected a lot more for what we're paying for. The rent is no where near economical, not like Miami is an economical place, but we were told a lie right before we signed our contract. One of our biggest concerns was "air bnb" we told the previous management team that we did not want to live in a building where air bnb in common as we don't feel comfortable having to see new faces everyday. Once time passed, we realized that this was the case, everyday we saw new faces in our floor, in the elevator - especially during spring/summer where all you see are big groups of young people walking in their bathing suits, screaming in the hall ways at sleeping hours. We've called concierge various times but this happens ALL THE TIME, my husband has had to call concierge at 3am various time to have someone shut people up on a weekday, it's ridiculous. We see new people checking in everyday and it's just not what we had expected. We were lied to and management continues to deny that they have a huge portion on the building owned to be used as air bnb... don't lie to your tenants, we are aware as we have asked many people already in the elevator and they have told us they are for vacation.
Also, the jacuzzi... It's been broken for quite some time. When are you fixing this? honestly, this building is not worth the amount of rent we're paying and we're anxiously waiting for the...
Read moreThe building is very clean, quiet, and the management and concierge is very friendly, kind, helpful with any needs and really makes the environment feel very safe and at home!
The gym just completely renovated and is fully equipped and looks amazing.
I really appreciate Melissa and Lourdes always being so helpful as well with any needs.
Although the only down side is that the concierge is here only from 10-3 pm and 10 pm and 3 am⌠which makes it hard to get your packages when theyre not here as well it does not feel the safest when theyre not here because theres really not much control with who comes in.
Especially as a woman it is highly concerning that there is many hours with no security especially with so many homeless around the areas.
Its very easy for people to come in without a key if a resident lets someone in and easily use the stairs to get to any level. Prior to joining I thought concierge was 24 hours as it is in most buildings.
Knowing that there is security and control of who is coming in is extremely important.
I would really appreciate if you guys could consider having concierge 24 hours to provide security for the building, help with packages as well if theres any concerns with neighbors.
I am really enjoying living here but would really appreciate the concierge being here 24 hours to make the building feel a lot more safe and be able to access concierge if needed especially after management is...
