I had a terrible experience here when my regular stylist Mateen (who is great) was out on vacation. I don't usually post negative revies, however, I just had to write one since I was solicited. To begin with, I was assigned to Kris/Chris, who is supposedly a âmaster stylistâ with higher pricing, but the service was beyond disappointing.
First, they offer you something to drink, tell you thereâs a slight wait, and then immediately rush you back while youâre holding your cup. Why even bother offering if they donât let you enjoy it? I arrived on time, but everything felt rushed from the start. After a quick wash, I was made to walk through a pile of hair from the previous client as they were still sweeping. Not exactly the clean, professional vibe youâd expect.
Then, right as my haircut begins, staff keep interrupting him about the next client. Instead of focusing, he casually says â10 minutes,â making me feel like Iâm just part of an assembly line. They even seated the next client right next to me mid-cut, robe on and ready to go, while I was still in the chair. For $85, this felt more like a third-rate chop shop than a salon.
The haircut itself was sloppyâhe ignored directions, cut my sideburns unevenly, didnât taper the neckline, left the back looking messy and uneven despite me asking twice for a cleaner finish. Instead of feeling relaxed and taken care of, the whole experience felt rushed, pressured, and carelessâlike being herded through as quickly as possible.
Unless they make this right, I donât plan on coming back to anyone except my regular stylist Mateen. I wouldnât recommend this place for men at allâyouâll get taken for granted and charged 4x what a decent barber would cost. Guys should not be...
Read moreExpensive but my hair has never looked better than when I come here. I got a full set of highlights in May and came back a couple weeks ago and had a partial done and a haircut. Honestly ALL of the stylists are amazing and you will not be disappointed with the results when coming here! Just be prepared to spend close to $500 if youâre getting all over color/highlights and a cut (I spent almost $600 for the full set with no cut but with blow dry and style and almost $400 for the partial with a cut and blow dry). You do get what you pay for, and itâs nice to not be annoyed when you get home and notice things that werenât done well or that you are going to need to go back and ga e corrected which Iâve had happen to me SO many times at various salons all over the country.
Note: my hair looked AWFUL to start, it was wet and also had not been colored in a VERY long time, so the before photo is abnormally hideous for me lol but I was extremely pleased with the results and would have been even if my hair wasnât in such bad shape to start with...
Read moreThe salon offered 35.00 haircuts on Instagram for being a model. What they donât tell you is that the stylist I had to do my hair, didnât know how to cut hair, didnât have the tools to work and dry my hair. I asked if they were a a school, but obviously said no. I asked for a cut they said they could do it. That was far from reality. Lastly the Master hair dresser had to come and finish my haircut after I became upset during the haircut on about 3 times which I had to stop him from continuing. I asked to speak with the owner, she had no privacy for me to speak with her. I sat in the lobby to explain what was happening.everyone was already looking at me. I spent a bit over 3 hours getting a haircut and blow dry.Lastly, it was 35.00,but at the time of paying she told me if I could pay 200.00 since the Master stylist had to do my hair. I explained I did not have that money so she went and further asked me if I could pay 100.00$. I paid and left. My hair is still longer I. One side that the other These people are a scam!...
