This store is a JOKE! I purchased a bedroom set from them and when it was delivered the one piece that I mainly bought the set for which was $1300 alone would not fit up the stairs. I believe it was too heavy for the delivery guys and they didn’t want to take it up there. The set was returned and I had to go back to the store to find another dresser or a different set that would “fit”. The salesmen Johann never asked me about measurements in my house, but on the second visit he handed me a piece of paper and told me to take it home and measure the stairs and come back for the 3rd time and find a set. After the 3rd trip I was able to get a bedroom set. I had no furniture in my room for almost 2 weeks and clothes everywhere. Then I was interested in a sofa so I while I was there the 3rd time I told him I wanted to purchase it and he told me that there was going to be a huge sale on a July 4th and to wait for a even bigger discount. I went back the 4th time for the big sale and the difference ended up being a savings of about $30. They delivered the sofa a few days later and set it up and left. When I sat in it and reclined it the sofa made a loud BANG and you could feel the recliner was broke or damaged inside. I then tried the other side and that side was bent to the right and you could see on the back that is was separated. I called the store and was told to call the protection plan and have them come out and service it! This 1 piece of furniture is $1800. I said you mean to tell me I bought garbage and now I own a sofa that has to be repaired. I was told unfortunately you have to call service and they will determine if they can fix or replace it. So service comes out (Omar) and says he can repair the right side making the noise (which is 2 pieces of the frame that are bent) and bend the other side back in shape. I told him that’s ridiculous and I want my sofa replaced. Omar called into his department and reported I refused service. I received a call from linda and told her what truly happened and that it’s not right I bought a sofa they damaged and I have to have serviced. I called the store and was told by Johan that his manager Benny said there’s nothing they can do and that I have to contact service and keep complaining until they replace it. This store is a joke and definitely don’t know what customer satisfaction is. I’m going to report this to BBB and...
Read moreMisleading Experience with Raymour & Flanigan Mattress Purchase
Recently, my family and I moved to Vineland, NJ, and decided to furnish our new home. We visited Raymour & Flanigan in Vineland with the intention of purchasing a bedroom set. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly salesperson who listened to our needs and guided us to the appropriate section. On our way, we passed through the mattress section and noticed a very interesting mattress.
The salesperson explained all the features of this mattress, which included massage functions and adjustable head and foot positions. It was incredibly comfortable but also very expensive, so we decided to move on. The salesperson then showed us a more affordable mattress that had similar features but at a lower price. This second mattress caught our attention because it also promised massage capabilities and adjustability. Given the features, we thought it was worth the investment and decided to purchase it along with the base and a bedroom set.
However, when the mattress and base were delivered, we were in for a big surprise. The mattress only had the basic lifting function—no massage features at all. The remote control was also different from the one we were shown in the store. It felt like we had been sold a completely different product. The salesperson never clarified that the more affordable mattress lacked the features we desired. We believed we were investing in a mattress and base that would provide massages and customizable positions, but instead, we received a basic adjustable bed.
It seems that the primary concern of the staff at Raymour & Flanigan is to make a sale rather than ensuring customer satisfaction. We were left feeling deceived and disappointed. We had previously purchased items from another store in the same chain without any issues, but this experience has left a sour taste.
In summary, our experience with Raymour & Flanigan was disappointing. We urge potential buyers to be cautious and ask detailed questions about the features of any product they consider purchasing. Don’t assume that what you see in the store is what you’ll receive at home. As for us, we’re left with a mattress that falls short of our expectations, and we’ll think twice before trusting sales...
Read moreI was greeted right away when walking in by Ernie. I had previously bought a bedroom set along with a foundation to improve my Purple Matress I had bought elsewhere. I also bought a fabric ottoman from Ernie as well. He is my go-to. He is extremely knowledgeable. I explained my dislike for our large couch that was a wall to wall sectional. I needed a new sofa asap. I also wanted something that was washable because I have a child who spills things. Removable fabric for washing was a must! Ernie wrote down the measurements, needs and wants, and identified a few sofas with comfy chairs that would match my room and do away with the wall-to-wall look. Due to the sale, we werent sure if the sofa we wanted would be delivered in a timely manor so he ensured to keep good contact. The order filled quickly and he immediately called me later that day to let me know the sofa we wanted would be coming in three days! I am extremely pleased with the service and knowledge from Ernie and raymour associates. I prefer Raymour for the quality product, the patience and understanding staff, and the quick deliveries!! If you are in the market for furniture, skip facebook marketplace and go see Ernie. It's worth the piece of mind knowing your getting a durable quality product and not someone...
