I know their late policy is on the website. I get it- life does not revolve around me. I signed up for a 6am Saturday morning class. I live on the other side of Milwaukee and it took me longer than normal to get there. I arrived at 6:04- could not use the code at 6:05. The coach saw me outside at 6:07, opened the door, smiled so big and told me I could not come in because I missed the warm up. I would also be charged $17 because I "missed" the class. I have been to other classes and some of the coaches are really great (reason I gave 2 stars), but I felt so rejected/excluded and annoyed that I would also be charged. I can't imagine people who are parents or had some other reason where they could be late for a very legitimate reason. These classes are expensive and if you are putting a significant amount of money into something I feel like there needs to be more flexibility. Feels elitist and I won't be returning. This would've been different if the coach was even the slightest bit apologetic and maybe canceled my reservation so I wouldn't be charged, but I...

Classes at more convenient hours (not 5 am) are almost always fully booked up right away. This makes it genuinely difficult to actually use class credits you may have already paid for. It was recommended to me to set an alarm for the precise minute that the class schedule comes out in order to immediately be able to book, which seems extreme. Additionally, the facility has no showers and just two single stall restrooms, which makes doing a class before work in the...
Read moreWent to solidcore twice, and the issue I have is that it’s way too fast to be “Pilates”. Pilates is supposed to be slow and controlled. Almost as slow as possible. The solidcore at Pilates is like a cardio HIIT style where you are doing quick and repetitive pulses. You are in a large group with mostly inexperienced people, many of which aren’t well versed in yoga or calisthenics type moments- you may benefit from a one-one-one class instead of this type of large group sitting.
Instructors were polite, atmosphere was good and it’s inexpensive. You still get a...
