Read moreI’ve had an interesting and not always healthy relationship with the gym when I was younger. Life happens and I think I gave up for a while there. I discovered TM almost 2 years ago (wow that feels weird) and the community has uplifted me. The workouts are truly for everyone, they are as hard as you make them, and there is never any judgement. All body shapes, sizes, colors, and genders of amazing people gather at TM to kick butt! The coaches are honestly all good people with a lot of skill and drive for what they do … teach and connect with us! Coach Jac was one of the first coaches I met and her class I think was the 2nd class in the books. There is just something about the way she coaches that really clicks for me. Not only does she have the knowledge and skill, but she always reminds you “where is your mindset at today?” And that checking in with yourself mentally and emotionally is impactful for your workout too. That is an important piece of my health journey, not only to work on my physical body but to be aware of what’s going on with me as a whole. Not to mention she calls me out in the best way when I’m scared and tells me “you can go heavier!” I have made progress physically, emotionally, and mentally since finding this gem of a community. They do a perfect job of balancing making you feel comfortable to work out there , while challenging you out of your comfort zone to be your best self!
One of the most amazing parts of Train Moment is the coaches, but when I think of Train Moment, so much of what I think about is Coach Marques. He has been such a big part of why Train moment has made such a huge impact on my life. The community at this gym is unmatched and he is such a big part of the reason for that. He makes everyone feel welcome the second they walk through the door, and will take time to answer any and all questions you have about the gym, classes, or workout related. He is so thorough and detail oriented. When he demonstrates the exercises, he explains them in a way that allows you to get the most out of each exercise. He has a way of gracefully pushing you out of your comfort zone, in a way that makes you WANT to be better for you!
