DO NOT GO! The only thing going for this place is the view. The website states that they don't take reservations, and that was ok prior to our arrival. When we got there a person at the entrance said there was a 30 minute wait and that was fine since the downstairs lobby had a nice seating area. We actually were texted to come up to the 9th Floor in 10 minutes vs the 30 minute time frame we were originally given. Awesome. We get to the entrance and our party of six was stopped. They weren't able to come in. We were never asked how large our party would be. I was only asked my name and number and that it would be around 30 minutes. Ok, first DING! Our party of six eventually made it through to the outside of the venue. Very busy. Thinking to myself this is a good thing. Nope! We couldn't find an area to sit or stand. All of these beautiful pit sets for seating 10 or more guests were occupied by two people sometimes four people. I'm not afraid to ask some to move over a bit, but you surely take on the chance of getting the stank eye or straight out told, "NO"! I think there should be a host/ hostess seating people based on their party size, so...second DING right there. Moving forward, we found a high top table which had room for four and had to ask our neighbors if we could take their chairs. Again, we were a party of six. Now, back to this table that was available. Dirty, filthy dirty. So sticky and filled with dishes from the prior patrons. I was beginning to think a public park bench with bird droppings would have been a better choice for the evening... obviously the third DING! When we finally got a waitress after about five minutes of sitting at a sticky table with someone else's dirty dishes. She was so nice, although we did have to ask her twice if she would wipe the table down for us. Since she really couldn't reach all angles because again, our party of six was shoved in at a four person table. She handed me the towel to wipe down the table...OMG! That was the fourth DING! When we finally got our drinks after awhile, everybody seemed happy until I touched my glass and my hand stuck to it. It hadn't been washed. I held it up to the light and it certainly wasn't even attempted to be washed. HUGE fifth DING! I mean HUGE! One, the bartender should have noticed that when he gave the waitress the drink, and two the waitress should have felt and noticed the sticky grossness while handing it to me. As a waitress what you are giving your guests should be examined before you serve it. Her tips might be healthier if she followed that mindset, but of course the gratuity is already included when your party has six or more. So why even try to look things over? Four out of our group of six were asked if we wanted to order food, the other two were left out...never asked...Ding six! When someone in our group mentioned this to her, she did apologize. That was truly nice of her. So the two that were left out ordered fries because it was getting late and the kitchen was about to close. They were given super cold fries...the seventh DING! We had her take them back to the kitchen and remove them from the bill. Here's the kicker!!! The drinks range from $15-$18 per their menu. They don't mention that if you order your drink with Coke or mixer it's another $5 added on. Maybe I am naive to this charging system, but seriously I think that is so wrong. One person in our group ordered the same drink three times and each drink came out looking shorter and shorter. I know drinks are measured out, but be consistent with the drinks aesthetics. When I returned the drink to our waitress at the bar she proceeded to tell me each glass was different in size. Again, be consistent so customers don't think they are getting ripped off. I compared my glass to the glass she said was, "different" and I asked her where the difference was, she came back at me with this response, " I can put more ice in your glass to make it look fuller". I'm going to give that a DOUBLE DINGER! Now that has brought my gripes up to nine dingers. So I...
Read moreThe atmosphere is the only thing this place has going for it. They need to get rid of the gameboard outside in the middle of the deck or add a wall to stop the pucks. it kept hitting me and my partners double dates feet. The people were drunk and didn't care. The waitress was overly sales like. The food is expensive for what you get. Like what should be the cost of a full sized meal was like the size of a side at any other restaraunt. To top it off the ingredients they use don't taste the best. I could tell the chefs could cook good. But the bread on the veggie burger was really hard and dry and caused the patty to smush more then it should have you need to order three actual meals if you want to be full. Because of the rediculas small portion sizes.
The only thing the place has going for it, is the fact that it is on a rooftop. Other then that everything is not worth what you pay for. But that's just me. I won't be going back it was a nice experiance for a one time thing but the value of what I played for just wasn't there. Put a wall around the stupid sliding game because the stupid game pucks hitting our feet and almost causing a fight that I really would have wanted to just stay out of.
Mediocre food, oddy placed games that interfere with were you sit because patrons often get so drunk they just don't care if they hit you. Combined with a sales like waitress staff make this place that could have been a great experiance a not so great one. The whole time I was there I felt like she was always trying to pry more money out of us. On top of the pucks hitting our feet because there was no wall to stop them. Rooftop is nice but not worth the premium tied to it. Between the staff, the price for tiny portions this place just isn't worth what you pay for. Especially sense the food doesn't taste...
Read moreNow I love the atmosphere in this place never had an issue whenever I come. Yesterday around 10pm we waited to be greeted at the bar. There were 3 bartenders and 2 other people who were just cleaning the area. No one ever came up to greet and acknowledge me and my partner. I understand it was busy we weren’t being pushy at all. As we waited we noticed were being overlooked and discriminated. I felt beyond dismissed. There were other people who were acknowledged and order taken that came up to the bar after us. Also there was a white guy and white girl who never showed any customer service to us and actually laughed that we said “hey can you take our order” after we noticed the bartenders didn’t want to take our order. We don’t know if it was because we were black and regular dressed? we should have never been treated this way. The one bartender who was black that took our order was not so welcoming either. The attitude he displayed wasn’t pleasant at all. I felt so uncomfortable, outcasted and honestly disgusted that we were treated with much prejudice. We left the establishment wondering what we did or said? If the manger or owner would like a follow up I’m sure to give it. I’ve never felt like this before leaving this place I’m so sad that I don’t feel comfortable ever going here again. I hope there are training videos on cultural diversity because last night was definitely a showcase of racism. -Mya....
