Hill Street Cleaners — Local services in Monroe

I’m newer to the area and this is the only dry cleaner in town. 🤷🏼‍♂️ From my previous dry cleaner, I got use to my pick up price (itemized) being on my claim and tag attached to my order. I was surprised at the price of my recent pick up. When I paid I was asked if I’d like a receipt. I said yes so that I could look at itemized pricing and better understand the charges. Neither the claim tag nor the receipt has itemized pricing. Checked the website, nothing there either.

The quality of the cleaning is average from my previous experiences, nothing special - nothing bad. Just beware that if you’ve been using another location you may get sticker shock.

Wonderful local business. Compliments to the kind front desk worker who took my call and handled my scheduling and payment. I went to get my Senior prom dress hemmed, but happened to forget that I needed to bring the shoes I would wear with the dress (oops!). The tailor still worked with me to find an acceptable length. We have been using Hill Street Cleaners for a decade. Today, there was a mix-up. They knew I needed my alteration by today, but my receipt had been miss-entered as being for a month from now. When I called this morning, they remembered me (because they are awesome and personable even though they are wildly busy) and told me "Give us an hour".
