Read moreWe were very excited to finally have an Indian restaurant in Monroe, but today's take out order experience left a lot to be desired. First, the parking situation was so bad that it took my mom 10 minutes to find a spot across the street. We scheduled the pick up for 8:30, but the food didn't come out until 8:40. They then called my mom 5 minutes after she left telling her they forgot a dish, so she had to turn around, find parking again, and pick it up, which added 15 minutes to her experience. We appreciate them fixing their mistake, but it was still frustrating since it was already a late dinner.

First time was soon after opening, 5 stars! Excellent flavors, heat was right. Veggie samosas, Khorma and Tikka Masala were all excellent. We crave good Indian food and were delighted we had a new spot nearby.

I actually had to add salt to my food and I never do that, especially Indian. Heat was still fine, but the rich wonderful spices you crave from Indian food seemed to be missing. But the real kicker was the dry cubed white breast meat. Usually we get succulent dark meat in that rich buttery sauce, but this time it was dry and chewy. Very disappointing.
We’ll prob try again, but kind of bummed our new favorite place somehow slipped from 5 to 3.5 stars in...
