In a 12 month span I have had three experiences with this professional. Let me start off by saying I have used her excellent Brazilian wax services since either 2018/2019. I believe in this aspect she is one of the best in the area.
However my review score is about system management and guest recognition.
In 2022 I fully paid for a Brazilian, FB ROLL ON for ingrown hairs, sunscreen, half leg and face wax. I loved the service so much I likeat least 30% of the service. I asked about her black Friday sale and if was a maximum of 3 fully prepaid discounted services bought to be used before 12 months.
I bought 2 half leg and 1 Brazilian wax.
The second time I met her in this period of time she had no notes about my prepaid services. I had a Brazilian, half leg, and full face wax.
I told her that I was only paying for the full face wax due to preparing for the other services during black Friday. I felt like she insinuated that I didn't prepay the services by asking follow up questions and saying how strange if wasn't notated on the account.
Long story short, we resolved Fast forward to July and like clock work she has no notes of our conversation last time. I had to explain her Black Friday promotion again and say that I had one last half leg wax to do that was prepaid.
Please never jump on her sales. The system notes can't track the money dropped for had promotions.
I am the type of customer who bought beauty packages in marina (for friends and myself) totalling over $1,100 for friends and family for other waxing and beauty competitors last two months over Jodi skin waxing because I dislike how everytime I'm getting waxed at Jodi’s my “hyperpigmentation” is mentioned and products to “make skin lighter” is pushed.
Trust me when I say her Brazilian waxing services are the best in the area. But the other stuff associated with the business really hampers my memories and experiences at her facility.
Edit: the other competitor I go for facials have allowed a rebooking of services without a fee due to it being my first time and had me sign a waiver to remind me the policy.
I was interest in rebooking but I was furious you did not notate what happened last time, did not remember last time, and was more furious I had to explain again your own promotion again.
In the end you said it doesn’t matter anyways on the call since the prepaid service will get absorbed.
You had no notes or recollection of how when I said one thing you said my promotion was something else.
Lastly, on the topic of hyperpigmentation, the owner has a talent for making someone insecure when they didn’t see a problem in either 2020 or 2021 I remember three things you commented on my body. 1) my hyperpigmentation 2) my injury on my left leg (knee) 3) do you have sun screen on or self tanning lotion on. (To which I replied no)
In 2022 during the Novemberish appoint you commented on my body again 1) my hyperpigmentation 2) my injury on my left leg (knee) 3) do you have sun screen on or self tanning lotion on. (To which I replied no)
In 2023 appointment for the half leg, Brazilian, and face wax you commented on my body for the third time. 1) my hyperpigmentation 2) my injury on my left leg (knee) (3) do you have sun screen on or self tanning lotion on. (To which I replied no)
You are the only professional that has done that. I pay for deep tissue massages, facials, and waxing with different business and I never heard them comment on my body like you have. Even with a Brazilian waxing service near the fairgrounds in Monterrey/seaside, they never commented on my body. Read moreI was really excited to get my eyebrows, underarms, and Brazilian wax, especially after all the great reviews. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the greatest experience for me. Eyebrows: she waxed over some spots twice leaving my skin irritated. I’m not sure if the wax burned my skin or if the wax tore my skin but I attached pictures.
Underarms: quick and easy.
Brazilian: this was the worst part. Partly because I don’t have the best pain tolerance, but there were a couple things I wish she had done differently. The wax was really hot, after I mentioned it to her I don’t know if she did anything different, but I didn’t feel a difference the entire session. Usually when I get a wax the person will apply pressure to the skin after waxing it to help alleviate the pain and sting, she didn’t do that for me. She is the fastest, most thorough, and painless waxer I've ever visited. I was in and out for eyebrows/brazilian in about 15 minutes and they were both flawless. I went back later in the week to get a facial- she recommended the best one based on my skin type (the vitamin C) and it was wonderful. My skin was nourished and glowing after.
