Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Monterey

Coming to this store multiple times, I can that it is I'll advised to come during open lobby hours, especially at night. During my past visits, drive-thru has been a little slow but pretty accurate with the orders, with one exception, which was promptly corrected. My past experience is a pure vice to the store. I rolled through at 11:00pm, and was asked to wait. This is typical during what would be called the "drunk rush" (in fast food, this is the time between 11pm and 2 am). What wasn't typical was the 5+ minutes i ended up waiting to order. After a few, "Hello?"s and absolutely no response, I went in to hopefully get an order in. It took an extra 3 minutes on top of the 5-ish I already waited to get my simple shake and a drink order in. It took another 4 minutes to receive the shake. In the duration of standing inside the store several things were witnessed or done:

1. The order taker had removed his headset and asked absolutely nobody to take over the drive-thru.
2. The lobby machine was out of ice, and you could hardly get anyone to get ice for you from the back.
3. Multiple customers drove off due to lack of service in the drive-thru.
4. I had enough time to write this review in the time it took me to receive the only item I ordered other than a drink.

At the rate this store is going, I'm hesitant about returning.

EDIT: Tried to come tonight, May 20. When we first arrived, we were asked to wait 20 minutes, as the gentleman on the speaker supposedly was on a break. After waiting 30 minutes, we tried various methods (calling out, honking, etc) to get their attention, we pulled up to find the drive-thru window cracked open. After more honking, calling, and finally pushing the window slight open, we are rudely greeted with a manager. He refused to listen, despite our concern that the place might have been robbed, and eventually refused us service (this is 40 MINUTES after arriving at the store). Visiting Monterey and had higher expectations.......

Arrived in the drive thru around 7pm. Was asked to wait 5min. 5min! Decided to go into the restaurant. (Who knows maybe they're really busy?) There was 1 family of 4 in front of us who already ordered and was waiting for their food. Female who I assumed was the manager (Cant believe it was but she wore a tshirt not a uniform) got loud as soon as she and I made eye contact. She was in the back of the store by the cook joking loudly and yelling about cup lids and yelled at a cashier to "Put your money away ( that I assume she left on the counter because who else has access to the register money?)before someone steals your money because it's yours." I didn't notice the money till but did see a young man getting ready to sign on for his shift and he grabbed the money and put it away. ANYONE could have grabbed it. She was VERY unprofessional! I want to Jack-in-the-Box excited to order some food as I am in the process of moving from Florida (where they don’t have it) and haven’t had it in a long time. So I go to the drive-through, and I pull up to the box to order and I don’t hear anything. I sit there for a five minutes waiting to order. So I proceed to the window and let them know that they’ve missed my order and I would like to order from the window. The person taking my order at the window tells me I need to drive around the drive thru and order again. I say I’ve waited there for five minutes, were you not aware that I was there? The drive thru worker states I have to drive around. I tell them I know that you’re able to take my order at the window, he told me that the manager said that I need to drive around. Now let me Tell you the manager was right behind him and refused to speak to me. At that point I just tried to drive off.
