Edit- a year later, I take my 5 star review back. Today I was in the area again and visited for some Black Friday shopping and saw not 1, but 3 pets in carts. None of them were service dogs. This target has a Starbucks and a grocery store, having pets in carts is such a major health code violation. They walked right past store managers and employees who said nothing. They also took the sign down that said no pets in carts and replaced it with a simple one that said no pets. Very disappointing as it just seems so nasty to me to see a pet in a cart in a grocery store. I get it was Black Friday but it was also very disorganized, with things thrown everywhere and I couldnāt find any staff members when I was trying to get help getting an item. Sales were posted but didnāt show up when I scanned items, things were scanning wrong, etc etc. not a great visit honestly
Weāre visiting the area and decided to stop in for some shopping, and wow! Iāve never been to such a big target! As a person with limited mobility I appreciated the fact that they had 2 electric carts (not charged though), and even though I had to ask/search, they also had a manual wheelchair. (Bariatric so it was bigger and much heavier, the wheels were too far back so much harder to push and get myself over obstacles but I managed) The changing rooms were all closed unfortunately but they looked very nice! Tons of items, you can find pretty much everything here. I didnāt go into the grocery store part but it looked well stocked. They had a good amount of self checkouts as well as regular checkout lines. Some of the staff were not masked/pulled down, and many of the shoppers werenāt, but itās big enough where we could stay away. Isles in the clothing section were a bit small at points, so I was trying to go over the feet of the stands, but a normal wheelchair should fit. One of the things I was pretty happy about was the sign on the front door, I really appreciate it as Iām used to seeing aggressive pets in stores, as well as pets in grocery carts which is honestly just disgusting. I appreciate Target for taking some initiative with this! Overall not a bad experience, I didnāt really...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had to breastfeed my baby in public today... in TARGET! I was nervous because I was at guest services trying to get a big problem fixed and the baby was crying.. so while they were trying to figure it out, I put my blanket over me and latched the baby. When it came time for me to do something on my phone, the associate had no problem doing it for me.. when it still wasn't right and she had to call a manager, the manager (Liz) came up and stepped in. While we were waiting, and babe was still eating, she made small talk with my 4 year old to pass the time. When my issue was resolved, she asked me if my son could have an icee, walked us over to the restaurant in the store (while pushing my buggy for me!), and got my son an icee. She apologized for the hassle of the issue resolution, and I just thanked her sooo much for not only handling that, but for supporting me feeding my baby, occupying my son, AND giving him a treat (and me a place to sit comfortably) while the Baby finished eating! ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø I hate hearing stories of moms being shamed for feeding their baby, and I was terrified to have to do it while I was dealing with associates.. but I am so, so, so thankful to have had such an awesome experience. I hope eventually all managers of establishments will be this welcoming! LIZ-- you made my day!!!
I called corporate, but I really want to make sure the store actually receives this praise. Complaints are far too common, and there really is an incredible staff here that needs to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNice store, and itās easy to find products. Although, their employee Maria has a very nasty attitude and made the shopping experience as a whole unpleasant. Before i start, I understand thereās certain policies in place that employees must follow, but her delivery was utterly disrespectful.
I was at self check out, and notice my bikini top had a security tag so i looked around. No employee in site. I waited and finally when i spotted one, Maria, i approached her asking for the removal . She asked me for the receipt and i told her im currently at the check-out about to pay. She proceeds to tell me a receipt is a required so i go back to the kiosk to pay and she yells at me from across the self check out area (her words exactly) āthis is self check out. you scan and payā Thats when I was truly frustrated. It was unnecessary and rude. I pay for my items, bring her the bikini. She doesnāt check the receipt at all, but accepts the bikini and removes the tag. I ask for her name and she tells me. I tell her that that her approach was rude and she responds with ārude and firm are two different thingsā I tell her no thatās rude you donāt talk to people that way. And she gives me an āoh wellā face. Not a care in the world.
I donāt know what this stores hiring process is, but this person, Maria, that SHOULD NOT be working in customer service if this is how she treats the stores clients....
