Would give them 0 stars if i could. As tourist to Nantucket I would expect honestly and good customer service. Upon arriving to the shop, the girl at the front was very rude and wouldn’t not answer any questions about the bikes and just kept pointing to the price board behind her. We went with the cruisers which were around $65 for 2. The weather was overcast but rain was not in the forecast until hours later. She girl at the front advised us to go on the trail to the lighthouse. As first time Nantucket visitors we went with her recommendation. After biking up and down hill for about an hour and then the bike trail ended in the middle of a neighborhood and there was no direction on where to go next. We had our phones and then the entrance to the lighthouse was closed! We turned around to go back into town and it started raining!! The girl advised us that if something happened with the bikes that they would pick us up so I decided to call and see if they could pick us up because it was pouring and we were about 4 miles away. They wanted to charge us $55 PER BIKE. More than the actual rentals. I’m very disappointed on the customer service and how they take advantage of tourist. I would not recommend this company to...
Read moreWe had a very pleasant experience with our cruiser bikes! We reserved 8 bikes for two weeks and we got them delivered to our house and picked up for only $55! They were kind enough to come back two times to exchange one of the bikes because we needed a different size and a second time to pick up half of the bikes. We stopped by the shop to leave a few helmets that they delivered with the bikes. The staff was very friendly and the girl at the front desk gave us a map with all the bike paths and was very knowledgeable about the island! We took her advice to go to Madaket in the evening to see the sunset and to have dinner at Millies! We'll definitely come back to rent from...
Read moreCook's provides a lot of bike options right off the boat to Nantucket at what seemed to be reasonable prices. My group did cruisers on the 24hr deal, but I'd recommend spending the day with the bikes until 5 then finishing your day in Nantucket off in the town area after returning them to both give you time on the island with them but saving a few bucks on the rental time. If arriving in the morning, that should be good to see a lot of the island! Their prices seemed fair, the staff were nice, and they provided helmets and baskets on the bikes...
