Went here for the third time today. The first two times were definitely better, I remember thinking it was decent but not my favorite. However, today was genuinely a bad experience. I ordered a cortado which is my usual, and for some reason it was sweet. They put some kind of sweetener in it and I personally really hate sweet coffee, but also can't have a lot of sugar for health reasons. On top of that my husband and I both ordered some food, and it was about what I'd expect if I were to order something at a random airport restaurant. Expensive, poor quality, but edible. I think today was my last visit to this coffee shop. It's so sad because even though it was never my favorite coffee it was cute, the staff was nice (different people today than I've ever seen) and it was good enough to be enjoyed. It's difficult these days to find a coffee shop in Nashville that's a well kept secret and I have a feeling since this one is brand new, it won't be for long, but I just had the best oat milk latte of my life here. I drink dairy milk sometimes but prefer oat when available, and their espresso was perfectly balanced and the oat milk wasn't sweet. It was the closest to a regular dairy milk latte I've had with oat milk! Also, the brioche breakfast sandwich was dope. I've been there twice in 3 days and I had it with and without sausage and both were great. The prices are fair, there's outlets all over the place if you want to work there, and the street parking is easy. All the things you want from a coffee shop. Oh, and the environment? I noticed that there was nobody in this coffee shop every morning when I came down from my hotel room. Now I know why. I ordered a coffee iced latte and it was probably the most mediocre coffee I’ve ever had. They did not stir it up at all so the first taste was pure sugar, but it was just the smallest amount at the bottom and then the rest was what tasted like almond milk. The coffee didn’t actually have any coffee flavor . The fun part is that they charged me 11 bucks for this coffee that was not even good.
