From all the videos we have seen online of the Miss Avery Grace bus we were expecting an engaging and exciting trip. To start the ordering of the alcohol was confusing. Half the email they send you sounds like you can bring your own and then it said you can only order from them through this link. I even emailed after and asked if the link was the only way to get alcohol for the bus and they told me yes. But when we got to the bar people were buying anything they needed to bring into the bus. Ordering from the bar would have helped us as we were a big group vs trying to figure it out through a link. The bus was so cute but the service not so much. I feel like if the driver and host had switched spots we would have had a better experience. They take Part of your 2 hours (that goes by very fast) to go over rules and what not which could be done before to give you that extra 20 minutes driving around. When she was first passing out drinks we had drinks missing from the cooler so that took extra time as well to go get what we needed. She asked what music we wanted to play, played the opposite. No one was dancing so you would think they would change the music. Nope. 20 minutes into the ride she was dozing off sitting up front with the iPad. She would wake up when we would start yelling at people on the streets. And dozed off a few more times after that. Seeing videos of this bus the host were so interactive and we did one âtwerkâ contest and that was it. I had to go around to make people stand up and dance. She was also suppose to be our photographer. She didnât move from her seat to take pictures besides when we got off the bus. Thankfully I took pictures. She talked to us all about her own business and that she was available tomorrow for us. And then at the end claimed she would only give us the booze off the bus if we tipped her. That made me want to tip her less. I thought this was going to be the highlight of the bachelorette trip and it was the...
Read moreI booked a party bus through Upstage about a week and a half in advance for my birthday and had one of the most frustrating experiences Iâve ever dealt with.
After receiving a confirmation email, number, and signing waivers, I was shocked to get a call just three hours before our scheduled ride telling me it was canceled. The reason? Another group that was supposed to be on the same bus hadnât paidâand they couldnât reach them. Why confirm a booking if everyone hasnât paid? And how is it okay to cancel on the party that did?
They offered to move us to Saturday at 9 p.m. (our original time was Friday at 6:30 p.m. for a sunset ride I had planned), but that wasnât an acceptable alternative. They also mentioned another busâbut then said it would âprobably be booked upâ - obviously it would be full considering it was so close to the scheduled departure time. They stated I would be getting a refund - and the refund didnât even match the total we paid.
We were also required to pre-purchase drinks through their partnered vendor, Green Light Bar. So after my bus reservation was cancelled, my friend had to leave a voicemail just to try to cancel the drink order which eventually resulted in them contacting her back and refunding her order.
Overall, this was an extremely disappointing and disorganized experience. Not what you want for a birthdayâor any special occasion. I wouldnât book...
Read moreUPDATE: Overall customer service was great. I will say that none of the workers were told that I would be doing a video shoot â which was a bit disappointing because I sent the song that I would be using for the set via email as requested. Good news is I had a hot spot on my iPhone and was able to bluetooth to the speaker. However, it was a bit unfortunate to go through all of the hassle of getting things cleared to do the shoot and management not inform their team of any expectations. BUT the vibes were there. They still made it fun for what it was worth and I am super thankful for the energy that was given!!
Customer Service: IMMACULATE! đ I had a question while browsing the website and noticed they have a chat box. I thought, "Darn, it might be an automated robot that wonât be able to answer my question." đ¤ However, I was wrong! I chatted with Katie, and she was AMAZING, helping me secure my booking! They seem very open to supporting artists of Nashville! đ¸đ¤ I'm prepping for my music video shoot and I AM SUPER EXCITED TO BOOK WITH THEM! đ Stay tuned for an updated review once I get my...
