Update:
I gave this church a couple more chances, truly hoping it would feel like home. Unfortunately, it felt overwhelmingly exclusive and lacked the diversity and warmth I was looking for. There’s a strong sense that if you don’t fit a very specific mold, you’re not fully welcomed, which feels at odds with the message of grace and community. The culture seems more focused on building a brand than building relationships.
To make matters worse, recent news revealed that the church called the police to remove a woman who had been living in their parking lot. an action that felt profoundly un-Christlike. I do believe Jesus is moving powerfully in Nashville, but sadly, I don’t feel He’s moving here.
Original review: I have been looking for a unique church but this feels like every other church in nashville. Big music, big lights. I will give it another try next weekend so I will see. Will post another update later. I did not feel a sense of community when I asked about there recovery community and I am a recovering addict. No one knew what to say when I asked about connecting with others in the congregation I will keep my...
Read moreSeems crazy for a brand new church setting up shop in East Nashville to very vocally not be inclusive or accepting all of their neighbors. Straight from their website, "We believe in the Biblical example of marriage between one man and one woman as a covenant bond. Because God our Creator established marriage as a sacred institution between one man and one woman, we adhere to the traditional definition of marriage for all of human history."
How can you say, "We are on a mission to create a community that unbelievers want to be a part of", when you actually mean, "We are on a mission to create a community that cisgendered heteronormative people want to...

Through this church, we’ve met some amazing people — many of which we can already tell will be lifelong friends! We moved while pregnant with our first baby (not an ideal time to move), and we were worried about finding other people in a similar stage of life as us. We’ve already connected with 5 or more different couples also having their first kids that we can connect with and do life with. So thankful for this church and the community we’ve found through it! Some of the most genuine people...
