The Green Light Bar — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

The female bartender was awful (4pm ish on 12.7.24). It was NOT busy at all when I visited this establishment but I could not get her attention to save my life. She looked at me then continued to bs with any dude that would talk to her. Then goof off with anyone giving her attention. She would look my direction and kind of start walking to help me then got side tracked talking to some person way on the other side of the bar screaming let me pet that dog over and over and not taking orders. If they were busy, I could over look waiting over 20 minutes for ANY KIND of service. She wasn't doing prep, she wasn't doing anything other than lolly gagging. I was going to order drinks to bring on the party bus to support a local establishment but she was so awful I was able to instacart booze faster lol that's sad!!! Also all the tables were so sticky and nasty!!!! The toilet with the urinals needed attention bad. The porta potty was a better option than that mess! The workers doing the bus work and taking drinks to the busses were great and fast taking stuff so u were not stuck holding it. It was also odd the bartender was only talking to men. I was so tired of waiting for an acknowledgement I made my hubs do it and she came right over lol. Several friends came in later to pregame and they said the same thing!! She was awful and just goofing off. I get being friendly working for tips but do your job too then have fun. Lesson learned, pregame elsewhere, then bring your booze and meet at the bus right b4 departure. Don't waste your time here because it will take forever to get any kind of service. Came to Nashville with my boyfriend on a whim and decided to do a ghost tour that launched from this location.

Only doing basic research it was only a mile from the Broadway area where his concert was. I was like oh I can walk a mile no big deal. Just a heads up it's a mile through a whole lotta nothing. So I would not advise to do this as a female I got pretty lucky and no one was around my entire walk.

Well I made it to the bar it's a cute little hole in the wall type place. The bartender was really great and was able to make me something I liked even though they ran out of stuff to make my go too drink but meh it happens. Also since he knew I was alone by the end of the night I felt like he was slightly looking out for me when someone tried to buy me a drink. He knew my boyfriend was coming to get me and also have a beer before we left.

They had live music like almost every other bar in the area so that was nice too. So I would definitely recommend getting a drink or two before your tour if that's how you...

Terrible experience would never go back. Bartender was an absolute nightmare and completely rude. Not only did she have the worst attitude, she couldn’t perform simple functions and tried to get away with charging more for drinks and adding on extra things that were not ordered. Crazy to think how many times they have done this and gotten away with it. She did this to over half of our group and proceeded to get mad at us when we called her out and asked to see our receipt. The tour bus driver and DJ were great, but the shady business procedures inside the bar were so off putting. I don’t recommend this to any other tourists traveling to Nashville and would tell you to look at other places. There was no apologies for how we were treated and in the end we still ended up paying more for drinks than were on the menu because she wouldn’t fix it. If I could give them a 0 star...
