My 91 year old grandmother, who had hip surgery, needed PT 3x a week. She started her slow, long road to recovery in Sept 2019 and was abruptly asked not to return in Dec 2019 by Kathy at the Maple location. In Jan 2020, the practice decided to bill us for the entire month of September, stating that the Insurance Company did not cover any of the services. I spoke with the Insurance Company and they said it was simply not true and provided copies of statements. They went on to say 1.) the practice cannot bill us as it is a violation and my grandmother does not owe the practice anything 2.) the practice should reach out to the Insurance Company and resubmit the claims so that the practice can actually receive payment.
I tried to explain this to someone named Lydia at the practice on several occasions and each time, she said she was too busy to be bothered.
What I am most upset about, is not the accounting error. It is the fact that they instantly refused treatment for my grandmother when they thought we owed them money. And the truth is, my grandmother really needs them. She has Dementia so it takes time for her to get acclimated to her environment - and having gone there for 4 months, it became her routine and something that she liked. It was good for her health, both physically and mentally. This is not a practice that cares about people. If you are or someone you care about is considering going here, don't.
1.29.20 - In response to the Owner"s reply: NO ONE from your practice has reached out to us requesting information or has made any effort to resolve the issue. Kathy, at the front desk, 100% said not to return until the outstanding bills are paid. I have documentation of everything. My grandmother will 100% not...
Read moreDr.Justin Dong has been an exceptional physical therapist and has helped me tremendously throughout my journey with a torn ACL and Meniscus Recovery. He illustrates tremendous knowledge in all of us exercise techniques and how it’s done correctly. Furthermore, he was able to answer all of my questions and really helped me reduce my anxiety throughout my recovery process.
From our first session, Dr.Dong has provided a multitude of exercise throughout the session and even listed more exercises I can do at home that was crucial to the recover process. Through his guidance, my recovery is 2-3 weeks ahead of schedule!!! Which I was more than happy about. He was also to get my range of motion on my right knee to 120 degrees within 4-5 weeks post surgery!
I will be starting to run soon, thanks to the strengthening and flexibility exercises Dr.Dong guided me through! I have several months left until I can go back to full sprints and Dr.Dong provided me a guideline for that as well.
In the end, I had the best recovery and customer experience thanks to the Dr.Dong and the staff and I would recommend anyone else looking for PT...
Read moreI am so impressed by Dr.Bonghak Ji’s practical and progressive exercise and knowledge of rehabilitation exercise techniques. In addition, he is incredibly patient and gentle in caring for every patient!
I strained my upper back and got lower back spasms several years ago. Chronic back pain popped out randomly but constantly during recently three years. Dr.Ji listened to my symptoms for the first time very carefully and evaluated my situation with his experience quickly by giving me a set of nerve stretching exercises. It was very effective to alleviate my numb feeling and chronic pain. Besides, he included exercises that fit my condition very well to strengthen my lower and upper back muscles.
Every time I went to do the therapy, he was super patient in teaching me and would make sure every movement was correct during exercise. It is vital because incorrect details can oppositely make the effect.
Above all, I appreciate meeting Dr.Ji and experiencing his physical therapy very much. He is so experienced and cares for patients very well. I highly recommend this physical therapy...
