I’ve come here over the course of two years and unfortunately today will be my last time. My first time coming, I had a good massage; my ENTIRE body for one hour. The masseuse tried some hanky panky, but stopped when I was clear I was uncomfortable. Second time, nto as great. Different masseuse, and incapable of giving the pressure I needed. Also skipped over my arms and feet. The third time was the best massage I ever had. Different masseuse again, but massaged my entire body with the exact pressure I needed. Even cracked my back and neck. 10/10. Next time asked for the same masseuse, but he was no longer employed. Got a decent massage, full body, but not as good as the last. Once again, different masseuse. 5th time, I got an okay massage. Was capable of giving the pressure I needed, but kept going lighter. I figured his hands were tired so I didn’t push it. Skipped over the whole front side of my body. This last time, calling to make the appointment, the receptionist put down the phone for a whole 8 minutes while checking for availability. I hung up to call again, but was sent straight to a voicemail box that wasn’t set up. I went there because I was nearby working and was able to set up the appointment in less than two minutes. Wonder why I was waiting on the phone for 8. Went to the massage, different masseuse, knew he started after 6:30 but he still ended promptly at 7:30. Once again different masseuse. Once again only worked on my back and the back of my legs.

TLDR, each time I go, I never know who I’m gonna have and how good of a massage I’m gonna get. The masseuses keep changing (to be fair over the course of months) and the receptionist is either super hospital or borderline rude. Half of the time, I don’t even know my masseuses name by the end of the appointment because they never introduced themselves. After 6 appointments over the course of two years, and after finally using my coupon after 5 appointments, I don’t feel any compulsion to try this place again. At $80 for an hour and $60 for half an hour, there are other places in the city that offer hot stones or cupping and a consistent and thorough, full body, hour-long massages for similar prices (e.g. amenity spa 90). I gave it two stars because I know they are capable of better. I genuinely hope they take this feedback as an opportunity to improve...

UPDATED: Knocking off a star after trying to schedule a second appointment. On the subway there, I got a call from the masseur (Ibrahim). He told me that the receptionist had given me a slot after closing time; hours were different because the next day was a holiday. He apologized—which I appreciated—though obviously the mixup wasn't his fault.

I understand the unusual hours leading to confusion, but this mistake seems in keeping with the general opacity of schedule info. The calendar—which is updated, strangely, not on their website but the Facebook page—was two weeks out of date when I checked before making my appointment. Further difficulties with it mentioned below, in my original review.

Rodrigo gave me one of the best massages of my life. Thorough, just the right level of pressure, and he checked in multiple times to ensure my comfort. Highly recommend!

Prices are reasonable; I paid $70 (plus tip) for 1 hr. Making an appointment by phone was easy, even same day. Navigating the schedule online, however, was a headache. There are various symbols next to the names of different masseurs, only one of which is explained. And there's no info on the masseurs’ background and training, so I had to use reviews for guidance.

Don’t bother …. Wasted time !!! I work a few blocks away from the spa and was excited to finally try it , thinking it could be my regular monthly massage place . Totally disappointed . I did not make an appt … my mistake but wanted to walk in and actually check it out before committing to an appt . After waiting 45 min they gave me a masseur … he never introduced himself or even asked me my name so i never offered . Room was nice , clean .. etc . The first 5 min seemed good as he rubbed me over a towel . But from then on nothing ….no deep tissue anymore just rubbing and rubbing and rubbing and no massaging . I thought he was going to rub the hair off my legs . I should have told him to stop and leave but kept thinking it would get better . It didn’t and i left with my body and mind worse than when i came in . Yet i tipped him well and in hindsight should not have tipped at all . But I’m not the complaining type person . But somehow i think because I’m older i was taken advantage of when i could have been a regular . To top it off after i left i realized your spa offers a stamp card after every 60 min massage …. Why was i never offered it ??? very clear you don’t want me back and clear to me to tell all my friends to don’t go there . Very sad that my much needed massage was a sad...
