340 Evergreen Apartments — Local services in New York

Lived here for 4 years during the pandemic from 2020-2024. Pricing has now moved in line with market price, but was never increased beyond what we felt was reasonable.

Management is responsive (via email only) and supers are efficient and come to fix all issues, every time we had something they came same day or next day to resolve.

Few issues with package being stolen was not a great feeling, just don’t leave packages sitting for days. The demo in the building is very diverse age wise as well since we original moved in with young adult vibe. Walls thicker and not paper thin. But occasionally can hear our neighbors. Being on the upper floors 4-5 is nice with a view plus sunlight.

Gym is nice but the items are starting to deteriorate with amenities like rooftop furniture being unkept.

Overall, if you trying to be in bushwick with a semi-luxury building with laundry in building, it’s pretty good. Just be selective about unit layout works for you....

I have been in this buildings complex lately I have friends live here. This building has two entrance, one is 340 evergreen st, and the other is 20 Himrod Street. They have apts from studio to a large ones, with 2 ou 3 bedrooms. In the building you have Fitness Center, elevators, maintenance on site, controlled across, 24 he availability manager on site, a paid garage available on the premise. All units have air conditioner, dishwasher, laundry room in the building, washer/dryer hookup, also available high speed internet access, heating, wheel chair accessible room, hard wood floor. Of course with all the amenities available to everyone the rent is expensive . My friend rented a one bedroom unit and pay around $3,000.00 dollars a month. The building has safety issues in the mail and bike rooms. packages go missing regularly and recently my bike was stolen from the bike room. When I alerted the management, they were quite rude and unhelpful. They told me they would send someone to help investigate and the guys that arrived told me it's not his responsibility, he interrupted me anytime I spoke and raised his voice to tell me that my bike is not his problem.
