I am writing this review because I myself use to attend Yogi bear as a child. I now have 2 kids the ages of 6 and 2. My son has been attending Yogi bear in my neighborhood for as long as I have been living where I live at. My son every time he started going to yogi bear I noticed that he started coming home sad or crying. When I asked he tells me mommy I feel like I am never picked they always pick on the same people. Trying to confirm for myself I went to Yogi bear and confirmed what my son was telling me. I have heard various comments from other people in my neighborhood that this is an issue and this is why they don't bring their children to Yogi bear. I refuse to understand why is it that my son comes home crying every time he comes to yogi bear. I also refuse to understand that my son feels like anyone else is better than him. It is very sad to say but I wont allow my son to go to Yogi bear if he's going to come home crying and feeling like everyone else is better than him. Let me also add that when I use to attend Yogi after a couple of times I also stopped going because of the...
Read moreI do not recommend metro World Child as a ministry of integrity. I would like to explain why. The sponsorship project is a farce. Children who come to Sidewalk Sunday school faithfully have the opportunity to take part in the sponsorship program called Won by one. There are now children who are part of the sponsorship project and have sponsors , and Metro also receives monthly money from the sponsors of these children to ensure that these children can go to sidewalk Sunday school every week. Unfortunately, the directors of the Sunday School have decided to no longer hold Sunday school in some places, not because there is a lack of employees but because they are trying things out, but the sponsors are not informed that their sponsored children will no longer receive Sidewalk Sunday School. Metro would be so honest and inform the sponsors that the monthly amount that Metro likes to spend to buy Playstation 5 or huge TV for other children would not be paid. A wise use of money and a sincere flow of information to the sponsors of these children...
Read moreAlthough I can not speak for how this church program is running now. I have come to say that as a child I attended here faithfully and it was one of my favorite pass times where we felt loved, seen and wanted. We rode on Bus #4 our bus leaders were Ginger & Ernest they were very special. They taught us what Gods love should look like. They went beyond what was expected from them and reached out to families with so much love in their hearts. Years later my sisters and I found them and reconnected with our bus leaders but lost contact with them again. I would love to find them once again. My husband is a minister of the Gospel and also has a music ministry in CHH. Please let us know if we can serve or be of any assistance at all. Thank you for the fond and beautiful memories that will always be with me! God bless you for all that you continue to do Pastor Bill and...
