El Monumento — Restaurant in New York

I ordered pick up from Uber eats. The app said that the food was ready, so I walked for 8 minutes to get there to FOH staff that doesn't even greet or smile at customers. When I tell her "Hi, I'm here for my pick up," she said "10 minutes" then stepped away to do other duties. 15 minutes later she brings the food and hands it over with an attitude and gives me a look like she is expecting a complaint. I told her to have a good night and left. The food was not bad or great, but anyone in the food service industry knows how "good" customer service can contribute to a return customer. i tried this place by using the toogoodtogo app. i paid $5 for $15 worth of food. i received A LOT of rice, some spaghetti, 3 chicken wings, and a few plantains.

the food was just ok. none of it was great. i was disappointed in the amount of rice i got compared to the rest of the food. i received 14oz of food when i weighed it, and about 3/4 of that weight was rice. i ended up throwing away half the rice. the chicken looked like it had been sitting all day. the best part of the meal were the plantains.

if what i received was available as an option for $15, i would not buy it. because of this, i doubt id return. however, the staff...
