what I just experienced as my second time going into the actually store is RIDICULOUS! I usually order Uber eats from the store and decided let me not be lazy and just go in.. so I ordered my shake and CHICKEN CEASER WRAP per usual and once I got home I noticed the wrap wasn’t the one I usually ordered. Me being reasonable taste a tiny piece to see if I can just make it do Didnt like the taste so I said let me just go back and tell them this isn’t it. So I get there and the first thing “the lady owner “ says with a attitude is your ordered a chicken wrap not chicken ceaser I’m not wasted no food I’m not making you another one. Then goes to tell me that the chicken wrap is best seller she doesn’t know how I don’t like it (like she knows my taste buds ). I DIDNT KNOW THAT A CHCIEKN WRAP EVEN IF YOU SAY I DID ORDERED THAT COMES WITH CHIPOTLE SAYCES AND ALL THESE OTHER THINGS IN IT . Then the lady starts ranted around the shop with all the coworkers explains how she’s not dealing with it she’s not making it and I better figure it out lmao like whoa what a owner! THANK YOU TO THE BLACK MAN WHO WAS THERE WHEN I FIRST CAME TO THE LOCATION WHO DECIDED TO MAKE MY WRAP FOR ME YOUR BLESSING! But that so called owner with the nasty attitude and the coworker minions are ridiculous with that attitude making your customers feel uncomfortable your never going to make it too far! If I could give this place zero stars I would. I just went this morning (9.30.21 around 10 am) to get 2 breakfast sandwiches a coffee and a juice. Juice was the only thing that was fine... but both of the sandwiches were disgusting. Cheese wasn’t melted, eggs not cooked and cold. I brought mine back and spoke to an employee about it in the hopes of a refund or a remake. I even approached her apologetically and said “I’m sorry to be a pain but this isn’t edible”. She responded with a bad attitude said it was cold because it was on the counter for 2 min while we waited out front (which does NOT explain why the egg wasn’t cooked and cheese not melted) and that that is their “standard” LOL. If that is the standard- save yourself the hassle and go next door to Salt and Pepper bodega (where we watches her walk to get the rolls for our sandwich and bring them back to the storefront). I wish I took a photo of the sandwich- but I left it there on the counter when the employee started an argument about my dissatisfaction. Two stars because when you can actually get an acai bowl or a pitaya bowl it’s pretty good. The main issue is as others have said the young lady who works here is definitely not welcoming. I have gone in at least four times and she will tell me that they are only doing smoothies. Another time a guy working there told me they didn’t have and pitaya but that he could make and açaí bowl and it was literally a block of ice. This place could be sooop good, but it’s in desperate need of better management, better employees and customer service, and better hours. I totally get that smoothies and açaí bowls take time to make, and at the same time it’s literally all they sell so maybe it’s time for a better system. Hope they figure it out because I would love to keep coming here but the reality is I had to amazing playita bowls served with a side of terrible customer service and since then I haven’t been able to get a pitaya bowl or a good açaí bowl through delivery or dine in. At this rate I don’t see how they stay...
