My wife and I have been TF Cornerstone residents for 4 years now. We have lived in 4545 and 4615 and we have never experienced anything remotely close to the negative things Ive read on other reviews.
For starters, the door men, maintenance people, and porters are the most professional, courteous, nice, and genuine people you will ever meet. They have never so much as misplaced a single package of ours. They remember everyones names and apartment numbers and always let you know if you have a package when you arrive.
On more than one occasion we have had a request for routine maintenance and its always been handled same day. Recently we had a leak in the AC that caused the floor boards to warp. Not only did we get everything fixed on time but the building manager came in to let us know that they would note of file so we didn't get charged for the floors when we moved out (this was in the middle of covid and they still managed to get everything done while keeping safe business practices)
During our last lease extension there was some turnover in the leasing office and someone had misplaced our lease paperwork. It took a few attemots to get the discount applied which resulted in a bit extra on our balance and some late fees. Once steady staffing was back in place they went in and removed all the overages and late fees. People make mistakes, and things happen. It's how things are handled after than matter and this mistake was handled without issue.
During covid I routinely see the staff cleaning, sanitizing, maintaining the trash room etc far more than usual. Everyone is always wearing a mask and maintaining social distancing
I strongly...
Read moreI love the building but the management here doesn’t respect its tenants: first they’ve been doing renovations at the gym for months and it was basically unusable but they refused to refund our amenities fees because they technically kept half of it open during repairs (because it’s so great to use half a gym - at some point there was just a room with mirrors open and that’s it) and you cannot opt out of the amenities, they’re obligatory; now they’re doing renovations to the facade and closed off my side of the building for 12 weeks starting mid July and no one on this side is allowed to use their balconies even outside of the working hours, so basically we’ve been all scammed for $1000+ because the flats with balconies cost about 400$ a month more than flats of the same size on the same floor and we can’t use them in the prime time for doing so and the management refuses to refund us this difference. So if you’re looking to rent with TFC make sure to ask if there are any upcoming renovations in the nearest future and certainly wait till next year to rent anything in 4545 center blvd because they only started and god knows how long it’ll take them (if the experience with the gym is any indication, it will probably take double the advertised 12 weeks to...

Summary: If you think you might move to another city within your lease term do not move here. I’ll tell my experience.
If you need to move out because of you need to move to a different city they do not offer breaking the lease for three months of penalty. Yes, even though you offer THREE months penalty fee to break the lease they do not accept. They say you’re responsible for all the remaining months. In my case I had 5 months left. They found a new tenant one month later. And the bill I got was 11k. As I started during the winter and left during the summer, they were able to find a new tenant who pays more than me for the apartment. This bill is of course humongous and not fair given that they found a new tenant in a month. The final bill they give has entries that doesn’t have any meaning like scheduler move out or autocharge, CTY waived. When I asked for clarification I didn’t get explanatory answers.
Clearly the management is not good at communication. The management is trying to take advantage of you if you need to move to another city. They also pressure you to to sign a...
