I wish I can give -5!! Today 9/23rd 4pm, I went down to this station and asked the booth guy, his side is going to downtown. He said yes. After 10mins, A R train came, it was going to uptown. Because his uncorrected info, I missed the train and bus. I asked for a transfer ticket, he refused to give me and he asked me to take the next train to uptown and transfer over there. Without any apologize!! He's being in this station to confusing and wasting...

This station is small and you can’t transfer freely between the uptown and downtown sides as it’s not connected. There’s also no AC or benches to sit and wait for the subway lines (which can take up to 15-20 minutes to arrive). No ticket machine or benches, so get your MetroCard elsewhere and be ready to stand around. Also, no free transfer between uptown and downtown currently, make sure you go in the right entrance or you've just wasted $2.75 or get to wait 20 minutes for your next swipe with an unlimited card!
