Afterschool Collective — Local services in New York

Such a great space for events! I just did a 3-day men's personal growth program there and it really fit our purposes beautifully. As my production manager put it, "it's a very clean space." He was referring to its design. It's a very well laid out and smooth space with the open room. The fridge is a great add on! Participants, my team and I were able to store small items to help fuel us across the 3 days. The location couldn't be better being just off of Jackson Avenue as a major artery through Long Island City and right near the Queensborough Bridge, as well as just a couple of blocks from a very small bridge into Brooklyn. Talk about centrally located! I had participants coming from Brooklyn, Long Island, The Bronx and New Jersey. The airports are also nearby, especially LaGuardia Airport, which was great for one of my participants from Chicago. Being able to walk over to the East River with its parks is another huge plus. I took advantage of that during one of our breaks. Lastly, dealing with Jessica was very easy. She is very nice and accommodating. Afterschool Collective was one of the best party experience we have ever had. Jessica and the other staff were extremely helpful in all aspects of logistics. The space is wonderful- there's plenty of room for multiple activities. For our 5-year-old's birthday party, we hired a magician and we also had cake and pizza and there was plenty of room for everything. There were also private spaces where kids who needed it could get some down time. The kids loved it and the parents did too. We would definitely book here again and we can't recommend it highly...

It was very short search when finding this place - immediately after finding it I knew it was going to be perfect for my daughter’s 10th birthday party.

The owner Jessica was lovely. She was so friendly , responsive and accommodating throughout the entire process from booking - to close.

Was used for a 30-40 persons gathering (including children) and the space had everything we needed from chairs to toiletries, multiple bathrooms , smaller rooms and a full kitchen (minus stove).
