An Issue created by an employee, bad customer service, and they expect you to suffer for their mistake.
I just walked over 20 mins with my wife & 5 months old baby to try this place out. I ordered Avocado Toast, 12 bagels, and Pound of cream cheese and they packed it up in a big brown bag. When we got home, unfortunately we were missing Pound of Cream cheese.
Really upset because we just took 1 hour of our busy schedule to try this place, and they would leave out something that simple. I called the store and they said to come back and would just give me the cream cheese. So I am suppose to take another hour of our time for their mistake? If I dont want to come back, they said they would refund just the cream cheese. Hello? I am suppose to eat all these bagels with no cream cheese now?
I even said, i don't want anything anymore and I will bring it back because I am not happy with this situation, and they said they cannot refund. I would need to speak with manager who doesn't come in for another 2 hours.
Now I wont even touch this avocado toast (will get cold) nor these 14 bagels. ($37 wasted)
wow, what a waste of morning...
I'm sure other parents knows what kind of busy schedule it is to have a new born...
Not good way of dealing with customer issue created by the employee...
I will not recommend to my friends and others... Resolved: Finally got in touch with manager and he brought the Cream cheese to my apartment himself. Thank you... I will up my star rating to 2 because of it. I still believe employee needs to be more care about customers orders, and we should not suffer because of...
Read moreWow the guy at the counter was totally unpleasant, and that was after I introduced myself (our office is down the street, and I live in the neighborhood) and congratulated him for opening in a space that has stood empty for years and years. I ordered an Americano with steamed oat milk and 2 equals. He said equal and sugar are on the side. I asked if he could put them in for me, and he looked at me like i was speaking another language. There were 2 other people in the entire space and they were sitting at tables one eating and the other using the space as a home office. No people behind me waiting, so why was the request met with such a fuss I will never understand. After I brought him 2 equals and said I would open them and put them into the cup if he wanted...he got real pisssy, handed me the cup so i could dump in my equal. I kept it positive and thanked him. Maybe he was just having a bad day...?
FOOD/Coffee: I purchased 3 hard-boiled eggs, I tried for soft bolied or poached but both were a NO. The eggs were cooked well and peeled (3 for $5 bucks) My americano was super hot and really tasty. Fyi, the 3 roll-up garage door storefront makes for a mildly chilly...
Read moreOn Friday, May 3rd, I was eating inside the store and witnessed the way the cashier treated a food delivery person, and I didn't think it was right. I heard the delivery person asking if he had a bag to place the order, and the man at the register said he didn't have the bag, but the delivery person saw some bags and said the order wasn't for him but for the customer, that he was just a delivery person. The cashier said it cost 0.15 cents and that if he wanted it, he would have to pay 0.15 cents, even though it was for the customer. I realized that these words weren't said politely to the delivery person, but rather rudely and brusquely. Perhaps this man is a good employee for the store, but I believe he should work in the kitchen, for example, where he wouldn't have contact with the public. Delivery people are also a type of customer; they may not even be consuming, but they're important for people who are at home, who are customers consuming a large volume daily in the city, which I also believe is a significant part of the store's revenue. This happened on Friday, May 3rd, at 7:45 a.m., and the cashier was a tall man. something unnecessary...
