Very horrible and unprofessional daycare. There has been a few mishaps in the school that has had me on edge but I have reached a final straw with this place. 1: When my son got into a mishap with another child they would not disclose who the child was not arrange a 5min meeting with the parents if necessary. 2: on 2 occasions I picked my son up and he had on huggies diapers (which he is allergic to) I was not provided a note informing me he was low on diapers yet and anytime I was I brought new diapers in for him. It made me worry that they may possibly be sharing my sons diapers. 3: My son caught Coxsackie (aka hand foot and mouth disease) the school had sent an email informing parents of this issue and when my son caught it I wanted to know more about it so I called to ask what were their methods were of preventing this from spreading in the school. Jody informed me that they cleaned and sterilized the toys everyday with Seventh Generation, however when I spoke to one of the teachers (Amanda) to see if we can make sure the kids do not share any toys their excuse was theres too many kids in the class and they can't promise that, aside from finding out that the toys are not cleaned everyday and that they only have one cleaning lady it would be too much for her to clean the toys in all 5 classes among her regular duties. She mentioned how her daughter caught it 3 times in that school which was not reassuring at all and I'm pretty sure that not sterilizing the toys everyday was a major reason as to why coxsackie was spreading in the school for as long as it was (which it still currently is!) so Jody was not being honest with me. 4: I received a letter one day stating that they needed my sons medical and asthma action plan, which i had already given to them upon starting, 3 months after him being there, threatening that if they don't receive it he will no longer be able to attend. I speak with Priscilla and let her know that I brought it in to them and she's stating if i had given it to anyone else but her it definitely most likely was misplaced almost implying that the rest of her staff aren’t competent enough to put the information in the right hands, funny thing is I gave it to Priscilla. I brought the copies to the school Priscilla claims to have called me and apologized because she had found the paperwork. I said i never received a call and she kind of rolled her eyes and shrugged her shoulders, I later checked my voicemail and there was NOTHING from her at all. 5:for a past couple of months my son has had a biting problem and they as well as I have been trying to get to the root of the problem to stop him from biting. I don't know why my son was doing this as parents we sometimes cannot pinpoint what the cause is. So yesterday I received a call at 1130 (mind you i just dropped my son off at 830) being informed that my son had bitten 4 children that day. Now of course i am extremely upset with my son however I'm a bit upset with the staff with 3 teachers in 1 classroom how could my son have bitten 4 kids in 3 hrs. I go to the school and pick him up, Jody tells me that she believes that Amir should be closely shadowed and I agree I felt that that could assist him, Now i go back to his classroom and Amanda asks what did Jody think we should do and i told her and she again states that theres too many kids in the class for us to do that we are assigned 5 kids each and there are 15 kids in the class they would be out of compliance if they were to shadow my son which I felt was excuses. The next day I bring him Jody transitions my son to the 2yr and up which he should be in by now and then tells me if my son has 1 more incident he will be removed, no suspension just straight to expulsion for my 2 yr old. I removed my child from the school myself. All of this has happened in a span of 4mos my son has been in this school only since February and it is now June. So good luck with this day care I would NOT RECOMMEND this...

My review still stands.
1.My child fell and injured his mouth due to a clear lack of supervision. An ice pack will not address the serious issues he is facing as a result of this incident.
2.My child's referral for a hyperactivity evaluation was abruptly canceled by Ms. Amber as soon as she learned of my intention to remove my child from the unacceptable daycare. It's clear that as long as they continue to receive funding, this school prioritizes their financial interests over the well-being of the children..
I want to point out that no one has reached out to me regarding this review. This lack of communication is quite disappointing.
Lastly, I experienced ongoing stress as the school frequently called me to pick up my chile early. Clearly, they require substantial training to handle situations better.
If I could give them negative stars, I would.
The daycare facility does not meet expected standards in my opinion, particularly as older children are placed in the basement, which is not an appropriate environment for care. The facility has had a high turnover of directors, changing once a year, resulting in four different directors over the past three years. My child has experienced mistreatment, being marginalized due to hyperactivity. Only two staff members, Ms. Yolanda and Ms. Nayebi, have provided a positive experience. Other staff members, including Ms. Amber, Ms. Erika, and Ms. Sue, are viewed as questionable in their conduct. There was an incident where my child was blamed for an accident involving Ms. Sue, but my request to see video footage of the event was denied, despite their practice of taking and sharing photos of the children. Ms amber was screaming on the phone how “he knew” inferring he made ms due fall on purpose. Ms. Sue, an elderly teacher with mobility issues, is assigned to supervise three-year-olds, raising concerns about her ability to provide adequate care. My son suffered a significant injury, falling down steps and damaging his tooth permanently, which suggests a lack of proper supervision of the children.
-The stroller storage is inadequately placed in a small storage room. You have to climb a ladder to reach your stroller at times.
-the kitchen when food is prepared is also in the basement. Next to the kids class room. To get to the basement you have to go down steep stairs. 2 -4 year Olds have to climb up and down these stairs...
Read moreAMC Daycare is a great place they super friendly, respectful, kind and heart warming/welcoming. My 5 year old enjoyed her year there and always was excited to go to school and see Ms. Liz. My 3 year is a fan of her teachers Ms. Cindy and Ms. Paola she absolutely loves them with a passion and even at home she talks about them. Both of my daughters have demonstrated their growth and knowledge. Tanisha, enrollment specialist literally went above and beyond to enroll both of daughters into AMC she even had back up planned if anything was to happen. Always contacted me when something was going on my case or what changes was updated. She’s very much dedicated to her position as well super loving and caring to my daughters and other little ones. I appreciate her so much. As well Nayibe amazing and loving to every single little one in the school. I definitely recommend...
