Alnoor Halal Meat Market — Local services in New York

We went to the live chicken and meat location on 21street. Next to the Alnoor Deli. They had no storefront sign. the owner was so rude and exhibition unusual behavior. I believe because either My niece and I were not wearing hajab or we are women. He refused to make eye contact . Mislead us to the store to the next building and gave us false information. Most disturbing was that he actually questioned our motive for buying a chicken. HE wanted to sell me a live chicken! . We just came in to buy a chicken and have it halal slaughtered FOR TONIGHTS DINNER . I practically had to ask the owner three times to pay?!?? It was the strangest thing. Poor management poor customer service . They didn't weight the chicken BEFORE SLAUGHTER. I wasn't allowed to look at the lambs or goats for further purchases. And they didn't use a sharp knife do the slaughter. They didn't follow the sunniah. So I can't...

I came in and purchased one goat for Eid Al Adha one month in advance due to supply as we approach the holiday. I wanted my order in a timely fashion, that is why i placed my order early to avoid the rush. I called to make sure my order was ready 2 times only to be standing around and left because it was complete chaos. I finally came in the evening 2 days later only to find out the goat was still alive. Then in a mad rush they slaughtered the goat and cut up huge slices which I had to wash and cut properly again myself at home. The men had smirks on their faces and I felt like I was being mocked. One actually demanded a tip. If I had a choice I would avoid this place but they are the only place I know that sells live poultry. I really wish they showed their customers more...

Please stay away from it, they are thieves.

It’s a store beside the Al-noor live fish, sea food & meat market with no signboard. They will steal your money by putting wrong measurement, fabricate the weight/ mass. It was proven several times. They are thieves, it’s a planned trap- don’t fall on it.

Plus they don’t follow halal way to slaughter. Last time they steal money from beef and this time from chicken.

Shame on them, how comes they use the emotions of Muslims and steal money. May Allah gives them good...
