I went to the hair salon last weekend for the first time. I booked an appointment online for a very simple hair trim and for curtain bangs and on the website it said it would cost around $34. When I arrived at the salon I felt very welcomed and the hairdresser was very friendly. A really cute lady. However I asked her to trim my hair ( I have long straight hair) for about an inch and to cut the front a little shorter ( curtain bangs). So nothing complicated. After she was done she charged me $88 which was a shock because I expect it to be more than $34 because my hair is very long but more than double what the price online said was very shocking. She could have said at least something before she started cutting my hair. However when I was home I noticed that one side of my bangs is way shorter then the other side and it looks really bad. I wish I noticed that in the hair Salon but I was trusting the lady. Anyway I definitely would...

I had my hair cut there. I removed my glasses for the time the lady was cutting my hair, and even without my glasses on, I could see that my bangs were uneven after she cut it. I put them back on, and I guess she knew she did something bad because she said "you have a bump on your skull" to justify how uneven this was. I never had this comment made by anyone (not that it would matter if I indeed had a bump on my skull) and I hesitated between laughing and bursting... She must have been in a hurry to finish her day. The cut last 20minutes, shortest time I ever had ($65). I decided to get it fixed by someone who knew what she was doing. Dont go there if you dont want to look...
