LaVista Pizza (10th Ave) — Restaurant in New York

Due to the fact that I myself work in the tedious and often all too frequent little acknowledgement Food & Beverage industry I often find reasons to excuse what others might find as being unacceptable, so I very rarely write any kind of a negative review. But! Being this Business does not have an email listed for me to contact them to share my experience in private I am lead to write it for everyone to read.

La Vista, Im sorry to you and your Chef but the product you have, and that I at least received was so disgusting it was thrown into the trash after 3 very gracious chance bites. The smell is what intrigued me first and foremost, and in a more so concerning way.It smelled like a type of “light” cleaning product.I ordered the Penne Bolognese, the Meatballs & the Calamari.

The Calamari I actually believe would have been a decent product if the sauce wasn’t opened up and poured all over while in route for delivery; unfortunately that made the order very soggy and instant trash. The Pasta and the Meatballs. I’ve never tasted something this bad, and I even gave it a second chance with reheating it this afternoon for lunch. One bite is all it took after today for me to realize I was not wrong about my initial verdict.about 12 or so hours later I began having major stomach issues/cramps; it is now 7:30 in the morning and I have yet to be able to sleep as these are continuously ongoing. I reached out to the platform used for my delivery which was UberEats yet was only given an apology no other assistance. Sad

Now. Because I like to end any criticism with something positive I will say that the prices were very fair and delivery timing prompt.

Rebrand yourself La Vista and come...

Forgot my side of sauce. Didn't leave the slices in the oven long enough to melt cheese or even have it above room temperature. Chicken pesto artichoke slice was so dry I could barely eat it.

Forgot fork for cake. Deserts looked like someone knocked them over and then put them back on the shelf anyway.

Reheated them in my airfryer after cold first bites (I live 1.5 blocks away and it wasn't cold out or anything. They just didn't heat them up. I should have known when it was ready too fast.

They were open for another almost 3 hours so it's not like I asked for slices as they were locking the doors.

The cake was good.

They are open until 2am Mon to Wed and 5am other days. I could have been able to tell you if anything was worth it if they're the only place open, but they didn't even give...

I DIDNT EVEN BUY THE PIZZA..... ENTIRE LATE NIGHT STAFF NEED FOOD SAFETLY AND SANITATION TRAINING.... Me and my wife went to order a few slices with extra cheese. THE GUY THAT IS RINGING US UP, ON REGISTER TOUCHING MONEY FROM OTHER PEOPLES HANDS, GOES IN THE FRIDGE AND GRABS THE CHEESE WITH HIS BARE HANDS AND STARTS PUTTING IT ON OUR SLICES. WHAT REALLY UPSET US IS THAT BOTH EMPLOYEES GOT MAD WHEN WE SAID WE DIDNT WANT IT... LIKE HOW NASTY CAN YOU BE TO HANDLE MONEY, NOT WAS YOUR HANDS, AND TOUCH SOMEONE'S FOOD. THIS IS NOT THE 1ST TIME WE WALKED OUT ON THESE SAME TOO EMPLOYEES FOR BEING DIRTY AND SERVING FOOD. YOU GUYS HAVE REALLY GOOD PIZZA BUT THESE 2 SPECIFIC EMPLOYEES ARE VERY NASTY AND SHOULD NOT BE DEALING...
