I lucked upon Anoria Boutique on one of my many morning sojourns around northern Astoria. Having traversed this area many times, I finally noticed it next door to Mighty Oak, the superb coffee roaster and shop. Needing birthday presents for our son's girlfriend, I stopped in and quickly realized that I had chosen wisely. The selections are excellent in sizes, price ranges, and quality of craftspersonship. With the help of the proprietor, I found two terrific items, one of which was discounted from $400 to $75; an outstanding set-aside for the forthcoming Holiday season.

On a daily basis, I seem to discover not only something new in and about Astoria, but also in this instance someplace superb, warm, and of high quality. Vanessa is a gem to talk to and knows everything about the collection she curates. From handmade treasures to local talent, there's plenty of womenswear to satisfy every event.
