Called AT&T and put in a formal complaint about this store when I found out how bad of service I received and what a headache this branch has made for me. I went in to bring my wife onto our plan from another provider and upgrade her phone. It took forever and once the phone got activated we said we'd let him help other customers since he was the only one there. We were under the impression that we could upgrade the phone at home and just put an order in when he said that he didn't have the phone available in the store. Ended up finding out that he never activated the SIM card so we did that ourselves and we ordered the phone upgrade online. Suddenly that day the order was canceled and I found out a couple days later a different AT&T store that since we didn't upgrade that day that we'd have to wait 6 months before we could upgrade or we could send my wife back to T-Mobile and then bring her back as a new addition again. That second AT&T store also told us that on the day that we added her in that they had phones in stock and we should have been sent to them to sign her up. After talking to AT&T on the phone, they said they could unlock to the phone for an upgrade, but it would take 2 weeks. Overall my time has been wasted tremendously when if this store and it's employee knew what they were doing would have just sent me to the other store or told me to come back later when they had the phone. Do not go to this branch. Go to the one on Fulton. I'm deeply annoyed and want to warn others so they can actually get help when going in person to a store for cell phones which is also a terrible process. For the store this happened on Saturday, Sept 20th in the afternoon. Please talk to that employee and give them better training and better tools to help people that have been part of your network for years.    Read moreMy experiences at this location were very poor. I went asking about an Apple Watch. The salesman Hamza failed to show me the watch or tell me anything about the watch. He asked if I wanted the watch and I said yes. BUT failed to mention color, size, or any terms and conditions. Charges me for the watch. So I asked him to open the box so I could see the watch because he failed to show me the display he had on the floor. I told him it was way too big, and this was not what I was looking for. He said I can’t return it. Mind you I’m still at the store, so I asked to help set the watch he said he doesn’t know how to, and I should just follow the steps and do it myself . After I watched him help a family for 15 minutes. He said he didn’t know how to set up the watch cause he didn’t have one. At this point, I got fed up and told him his service was horrible and I did not want the watch because he just shoved a watch down my throat so he could get a sale. Hazam called his manager speaking in another language and said he had to charge me $55 for the restocking fee. Where was this info when I was purchasing the watch? And he added a line and other things I wasn’t aware of in my phone plan which he did not cancel that brought my bill to almost $200, when I was paying $124 a month…. PLEASE...
   Read moreI went in to the 99 7th Ave. Park slope location for assistance with utilizing my old iPhone 6 for my 85 year old mother, to use as an internet phone, with WhatsApp so that she can FaceTime with her kids, grandkids and for telemedicine visits, which are more frequent since Covid. I knew it would be an involved process and did not know how to go about it, since I wanted my mother to be able to retain her flip phone as well, since relying solely on an iPhone is too high a learning curb for her at 85. Malik not only helped me enormously through this process by setting up the phone for her but also, set up her iCloud and WhatsApp accounts and explained the process to me along the way; we did it all together.
