I want to start out by saying that a lot of the review on google, yelp, and facebook are fake. The posters have only 1, or a few reviews(maximum 3) and are posting the same reviews on different platforms. If the reviewer has a few reviews listed, the other reviews are also for other Physical therapy offices as well, or they list 5 star reviews for other companies. Seems like such a strange "coincidence." And in those reviews of other PT businesses they are also singing songs of praise for that PT business, which makes no sense because in their review of Balance in Motion they are saying that they struggled to find a good physical therapist until they came to Balance in Motion PT, but they were just giving 5 stars to a PT studio less than 3 months prior. Read the reviews and your will see the lies and inconsistencies. If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, flaps like a duck, its a duck. In this case the reviews are fake and fabricated in order to get new business.
I thought when I made by booking that I would be seeing the two PT's named on the website Dr. Lee and Kim, which was the only the only reason I decided to take the chance to come to this PT studio as I was impressed by reviews I read regarding their more holistic, whole body approach to treating lower back pain, from the feet and up, looking at all the whole body chain. Essentially they would not only treat the symptoms of your back pain but help correct misalignment which may be playing a role in the process. I got nothing of this sort. I was seen by a physical therapist that was not listed on their website and who I knew nothing about. I made this visit to discuss my lower back pain, and did not even ask me to remove my shirt so she could properly examine my lower back and watch its movements. This was a major red flag for me. Its like someone doing an exam of your knee but with your jeans on. I knew the visit would only go downhill from there. After a very brief examination of my back with my shirt on, she recommended and went through some PT exercises with me nothing I had not seen or done before at previous studios. I also found that she had a difficult time answering my questions regarding the root of my back pain. She did not sound very confident in her answers which only made me less confident, especially as a health care provider myself. I came to her because she is suppose to be an expert in her field, and I was not getting that from her. At the end of the consult she gave me what they called "manual therapy" which was just a lukewarm back massage of my lower back once again with my shirt on. At the end of this I was handed off to a one of their supposedly trained massage therapist, once again a face or name that I did not see mentioned on their website. One again I got another back massage with my shirt on, and there was no rhyme or reason to the sequence of the massage. It all just felt very random. I could tell the massage therapist did not want to be there, and at that point, neither did I.
Overall this was a very disappointing experience, and I would sum it up as a bait and switch. From my experience I believe the reviews are all shams, AS I did not get the thorough initial consultation that the fake reviews had promised, and I was not impressed by experience or the little that I saw. And while the therapist I met was a nice person, there was nothing spectacular about her and her recommendations that would warrant me to go back again. You can find someone comparable elsewhere that takes your insurance plan. There is nothing literally to write home about regarding Balance in Motion PT therapy, except I would not waste my time or my money again in going here. There are better PT...

I had been dealing with knee pain for two months when I decided to try Balance in Motion since it’s close to my office. From my very first visit, I noticed a significant difference compared to my previous physical therapy experience.
Dr. Daeseon Kim stands out for his attentive and personalized approach. Unlike my previous physical therapist, who followed a standard routine, Dr. Kim carefully observed my movements and listened patiently as I described my pain — even when I struggled to explain it clearly. He tailored exercises specifically to improve my posture.
One day, we had a breakthrough. Dr. Kim noticed a subtle difference between my left and right side during a particular movement. With that sharp observation, he identified the root cause of my pain: a muscle imbalance caused by one part of my quadriceps being stronger than the others. He then crafted a custom exercise to activate and strengthen the weaker muscles. I felt stronger almost immediately, and my pain improved significantly.
Beyond his expertise, Dr. Kim takes the time to explain the underlying mechanics of the issue and how each exercise addresses it, which I found incredibly helpful.
In addition to physical therapy, Balance in Motion offers acupuncture for pain management and chiropractic care. Dr. B is thoughtful and gentle, ensuring you’re comfortable and relaxed throughout the acupuncture process — even for someone like me who’s afraid of needles! The chiropractic team is also fantastic, and you’re treated to a relaxing massage at the end of your session.
I’m incredibly grateful for the care I’ve received here and highly recommend Balance in Motion to anyone seeking effective,...

I found Dr. Kim on Zocdoc and he was listed as one of the in-network providers. I am now on my 10th week of treatment in a biweekly cadence, and only missed a week due to appointment availability.
I entered the clinic at peak summer month when it is a popular time for vacations. I had the pleasure to work with three different doctors, the original Dr. Kim (OG), Dr. Lim and Dr. D Kim. At start, I entered the clinic with a few visits via the OG, then later passed on to the two others since they took their time off separately. They were all high care professionals with strong emphasis on explaining the theory of the musculoskeletal system on why I have reoccurring issues and postural problems.
The OG led by diagnosing the problem to design the treatment plan, with the doctors that followed reevaluating the diagnostics along the way. I personally find myself lucky to have multiple opinions during my visit and the service was consistent throughout. It was obvious that the OG is the most experienced in the team, while Dr. Lim worked on relieving my symptoms and Dr. D Kim provided a tailored muscle strengthening program.
Unfortunately, at week 9 I came to learn that Balance In Motion was actually out-of-network for my insurance plan. Their team managed to workout a fair financial plan to cover my visit costs and continue with my treatment plan. Even though it is financially-wise to switch to an in-network provider, their care has kept my loyalty to their work. I’m thankful for their service and support to rebuild my physical health. I endorse Dr. Kim’s office to any future patents and his...
