I feel unsafe/uncomfortable with another member in the morning everytime I am there on Saturday, Sunday and/or Monday knowing that it is not crowded at all when gym opens at 7am Saturday/Sunday n 5am on Monday instead of they go to another treadmill knowing that there r over 12 other treadmills open they aim toward the treadmill right beside me knowing that i been working out on the treadmill over 20 min. I confronted one of the workers that work during the day when I am there multi times that I feel uncomfortable with the person n seem like the worker don't care. Basically feel like the worker is saying to ether move to another treadmill or deal with it knowing that y should I be the one to move when I was on the treadmill over 20 minutes. Other then that one time the guy (member) see me n came to the treadmill right beside me I decided to just end my workout 25 minutes into it n when I was walking away something in me just tell me to look back so i did n the guy was laughing n looking at me at the sametime. Basically I rather go to the gym during late night / early morning before 4am cause the night crew/workers make u feel more safer then the day crew/workers. I also had talk to a police officer that I know n there friend to where they said if I told the day crew about it knowing it is happening during the day n they not doing a thing about it meanwhile the member continue to do that then right there it is harassment by the member when clearly there r open treadmills then the one beside me cause I had took a picture of the person beside me that they clueless I did n I show police the picture n they notice there r multi treadmills open n they not sure y the guy continue to aim for the machine next to me when I feel uncomfortable/not safe when they right next to me. The gym need to go back to being open 24/7 cause some of us feel much better going there late night / early morning duo to the late night / early morning crew make u feel better, safe n comfortable while being there. If things don't shake up specially with that member i might take up the offer from my 4 friends to join the...

I am writing this, hoping that someone from Blink corporate will address many of the challenges that us gym-goers are faced with at the Lower East Side Blink, located at 98 Avenue A, NY, NY.
Today was the straw that broke the camelās back. Around 6am, after going through my own personal bottle of water, I approached the desk to purchase another bottle to get me through the rest of my workout.
However when I approached the desk, the personnel there had explained that they had closed down the registers due to a ābatch outā process that corporate requires them to go through prior to be relived by the oncoming shift.
This is a major inconvenience for those of us who are paying to be here. Today, their reliefs were late, so nobody was able to make any purchases from 6am - 6:30am, which is unacceptable.
Not only do we have to deal with the confined workout space, lack of bench press machines, a single smith machine, and barely any back machines, but now we have to sacrifice being able to quench our thirst after exhausting ourselves from an intense workout.
Granted, this is the most affordable gym in the area, a lack of care for its participants seems to be the attitude amongst the personnel here which shouldnāt be.
We are still consumers, and youāre still in the business of providing excellent customer service, or at least, we would hope you would be.
This needs to be addressed. We have to deal with enough just to workout for at least an hour without being harassed or nudged because someone is trying to squeeze in the miniature hole of a space, next to us.
My question is, does Blink Corporate have any sort of plans in the work to at least TRY to make our experience at this gym at least somewhat comfortable? If so, perhaps starting with this ābatch outā process, preventing us from making purchases during shift changes, would be a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLoved blink when it first. Friendly environment and great staff (or so I thought). As a member for almost 2 and half years Iāve seen the slow decline of a friendly base, judgement free zone go down hill. The staff great you at the door with a smile and that is all a fassade as poor mateniance and terrible facilities make the this gym a nightmare towards the end. The one thing it does have that keeps it afloat is its convienced. Centered in the heart of the east village it is easy to get to and open late but that is āallā. All in all I would have loved to look past the faults of staff and facilities to allow me to continue to workout here. But I could not do it and thatās when my biggest nightmare happened. I go to college and every break I come to blink to workout. For the past 2 years Iāve had no problem canceling. Every year I ask āwhen should I cancel that way I do not have to pay the cancelationā and every year no problem. This year when I go to cancel because of the rude staff especially the manger I got the answer thereās ānothing we can doā and āitās your faultā. I canceled when I was told to before the third month and for some reason I was charged and extra 51 dollars to cancel bringing my total to cancel my membership to total of 83 dollars. I find the humiliation of having to continue to ask for help from a staf that would rather look the other and equipment and facilities to continue to break down to be an otherwise deal breaker. In total if your looking for a place to throw around weights at all hours of the night this place still might not be the best place to pump iron. My opinion take your business else where and do not come to the scam that is blink...
