Used to come here a lot before. All of a sudden they were so rude to me today when I ask them to accommodate my food allergy. Instead of explaining it would take a while he practically yelled at me. I don't understand this attitude at all and I'm so disappointed. I used to love this place before. So incredibly rude and did not even understand what I meant. I wanted them to leave off the cheese off of a portion of the next pizza. So basically because I cannot eat cheese then you can just be so rude to me? I got the memo now. Best regards.
Rosette Pizza on 8th Ave and many others. There are other spots in the neighborhood that make pizza without and with cheese. I'm not begging anyone to take my money that I work hard for. You lost a fan. There is a right way to say no and that was not it. You basically berated me. Wow
Update: I went to Village Square pizza and they had two tasty options that did not have any cheese on there. The eggplant is simply divine. I'll go there from now on on the occasions when I want a slice but don't want to be sick the next day. It doesn't matter to size of an order. Today a slice, tommorow a whole pizza. People remember how you treat them and I did not ask for an item you didn't have. I asked to leave the cheese off. You could have explained better instead of...

The mushiness is partly mitigated by the crispy crust, though.
The Good: Staff was friendly and polite. No credit card minimum. The signature burrata basil pizza has delicious globs of burrata cheese that make the previously described problems less noticeable. The cheese pairs exceptionally with basil, but I couldn't get the herb's full flavor because the leaves were soaked with grease.
Tons of potential here, and I really hope they'll improve on the...

the “Classic” aka a plain NYC slice is really good. thin blanket of melted mozzarella; floating on a layer of flavorful sauce; all balanced on a relatively thin crisp crust with some chew. honestly the plain slice has what you want in a NYC slice: a balance of seasoned flavors, aromas, and textures. my slice from a freshly baked pie—and that made it all all the better. “Classic” slice, $3.50 + tip
